Wow, huh. First, not the other movie with the same name. It's about two hacker buddies following the signal of another hacker that hacked into their college's computers and messed up a lot of stuff, including their personal files.
It was... interesting. Can't really comment on it without spoiling it.
The Letter Never Sent - a Soviet film from the '50's. Really stunning photography of the Siberian wilderness. The story was a bit lacking (there's some drama among the group that amounts to nothing, as it soon just becomes a survival story) but the movie as a whole was harrowing and bleak as hell. It's meant to be about the nobility of sacrifice, but it ends up delegitimizing that concept. Really good!
Captain America 2 - very solid! not as FUNNY as the Marvel movies tend to be, but I really appreciated the action and how unembellished it was. Very well paced too. I just thought the WINTER SOLDIER was kinda lame
Really good. It really felt like a TIMELESS movie in a way (aside from the spotty CGI in places). Not really sure I could say what the POINT of the whole thing was, but it was pretty beautiful nonetheless. Great performances and cinematography. Lots of scenes that were left to linger longer than you'd see in a lot of American movies, which was nice. And I loved all the usage of long shots
