Faith @ 21/9/2014 0:53 I finished Mass Effect 2. I can get the third one for $14.99. Should I go for it? :P I have it on PS3 and I can ship it to you to play for free and you just need to send it back when you're done. 3rd game is fun but if you are really into the series it will piss you off.

That's an awfully kind gesture, but I'd probably not want to give it back. :P haha I'm really okay with spending $15.00, but I appreciate the offer!

There was a sale so I caved and got it. It's pretty fun

I caved and bought The Long Dark this weekend too and I'm finally getting a chance to play it now. I planned on making The Forest my early access survival PC game that I caved on, but the simple graphics and setting lured me in.

I considered doing a blind lets play of it but after recording about 15 minutes I realize I don't comment nearly enough for that to be interesting (and I play like a fucking moron). I might try again after I've played a bit more and have things to say besides "what's this??"

Thoughts so far:

Very good game for what it is so far, but I did have a few complaints. Calories get burned WAY too quickly. I shouldn't be able to sleep away all energy gains from eating an entire raw deer. I also got mad when I found a nice cave but couldn't build a fire because of the wind. There was no wind there! It was a cave!

Really fun, though. I hope on my next play the items are in different places or it shoves me somewhere far from where I was. I know where a lot of good stuff is now.

what way did you go about recording your let's play? I kind of want to try that sort of thing myself.

I've been playing Destiny on Xbox One.
And I played with Panda Perry and he sucked.

JESUS CHRIST THIS GAME

I was doing fairly well. Then I got food poisoning. My health deteriorated rapidly while I was boiling water and cooking wolf meat and the rests I took inbetween didn't help me. I died in the corner of the dam without even getting to loot the place.

Forza Horizon 2 is pretty great. It looks beautiful driving when it's raining, it's so detailed.

Still playing The Long Dark. I plan to stop for a bit after I die in this playthrough, but so far I'm doing alright. My tools are all in poor shape, and the calorie drain is still bad (I shouldn't have to eat all the available meat of a deer in 3 days to avoid starvation. That's silly), but I'm in a spot where I could theoretically live on for another 10 days or so if I don't make a silly mistake (I will)

Highlights of my game so far are getting attacked by a wolf that spawns randomly in a specific location and killing it with my bare hands, then getting a nasty infection and almost dying in a dark corner trying to sleep it off, then, at very low health, going the wrong way back to base with all my shit and no food, and ending up stuck in an abandoned trailer because my gun's in too bad a shape to take on the wold patroling outside. Then I took the wrong way again trying to get back to base and ended up hulled up in a cabin with a corpse because i couldn't carry my gear anymore.

After I regained my health I moved on to a nice-but-out-of-the-way house and I'm more or less staying there. I'd like to journey back to my old base for my supplies, but I have the directional skills of a drunken mime in this.
