Really enjoyed this one. Nothing like a good ol' thriller/revenge flick. Woody Harrelson is so good at being a dick that I can only assume he is constantly one in real life too.
2 Guns with Wahlberg and Denzel. Mehhh. The banter was fun enough because I like the actors but the plot was so stupidly convoluted that it got SILLY early on. It also made the mistake of separating the characters for too long a time in an effort to explain their overly complicated motivation.
Watching some of episodes of An Idiot Abroad. Wish I had watched this before now, pretty hilarious. I loved how unimpressed he was with the Great Wall.
final destination 3....kinda lel. I will never ever ride rollercoasters again
"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
Unfortunately I didn't have any subtitles so I have no idea what some of the characters were actually saying at certain points, but I still feel like I got the gist of it. I thought it was visually pleasing and kind of weird - if someone told me that David Lynch directed it I might have believed them, but I just dunno. The story is extremely barebones and it left me feeling indifferent. I didn't love it or hate it, I just kind of... acknowledge that yes, it is in fact a movie that exists. Also the mother was a superbitch.
Going to watch Edge of Tomorrow, or whatever the fuck they renamed/rebranded it as if I can get Chromecast to stream it smoothly. For some reason it's having problems with this one.
Fell asleep again before attempting the rewatch last night, but just finished it. Bernie was a goddamned hero who felled a horrible beast. The town was right to celebrate him like they did. Probably my favorite role that Jack Black has ever played. Though I guess that's an easy claim to make since he is basically just himself in his other movies. I lol'd at his confession "I shot her... I shot her with the armadillo gun."
