Sorry vlady.
Bicycle Commuting Reimbursement:
The Senate plan would end the bicycle commuting tax break, generating savings of less than $50 million. The House bill doesn't mention it.
Currently, qualified bicycle commuting reimbursements of up to $20 per month can be excluded from gross income. The reimbursements are available for certain expenses incurred in a calendar year, such as the cost of purchasing, repairing, or storing a bicycle if it is used to commute to work.

Was that a real thing? I bicycle commuted for 8 years, and never once did TurboTax tell me about that one.

*Is currently a real thing. Sounds like you need to spend money on a more expensive TurboTax to save less than you spent on it.

I'd spend the money to have a "professional" do my taxes for me, if a) I had any idea what to keep or bring with me, b) owned a house, or c) thought I'd even come close to the level needed to itemize deductions.

Netflix is going to shit, they are constantly removing the good shows on there and making terrible original shows. Hulu is going to take over |
Oops. Wrong. | |

Yeah- it was never worth claiming any shit to get cash from it- setting up the $$ takes more time than the money was worth (since I was generally at an ETR around 15% or so after deductions, the $20 per month deduction ends up being worth a whopping $3).

In most cases, you had to work through a Wageworks or similar program to make it worthwhile. | How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat? |

I keep impulse buying collectibles and it's a problem. I'm eyeing a limited edition Merida doll on Ebay, but just this week I've bought a limited edition Elena of Avalor doll, limited edition Rapunzel and Flynn dolls (there was a Black Friday discount on them), and a Batwoman statue (I had some Amazon gift cards though). And some Funko pops (the Outer Sailor Senshi and a Hot Topic exclusive DC Bombshells Hawkgirl).
