Yeah, I wanted something more also. When Jack got in the chopper, I thought he was going to blow it up. Heroic sacrifice, etc. But yeah, I'm pretty satisfied with how the season ended. Angry Jack is best Jack, and Heller's monologue...damn.
Also, Jack beheading Cheng > Jack throwing Margot out the window, and it's not even close. |

You know Helios is scum when he summarizes everything and then adds to the discussion by picking out one random sentence someone says and writes an italicized diatribe about how it's curious and he really, REALLY wants to know more about it.
"What did you mean by this, though? You are eating a biscuit? A BISCUIT???? Seems a little farfetched to me. Really gonna need to hear more about this biscuit situation." | Yes
With some form of over the top, “Wait, what the actual fuck?!” thrown in
| A biscuit? Are you FUCKING KIDDING ME?
Say it with me... inactive biscuit is still biscuit. And my key to victory. |

The ending with Jack being shipped off to Russia was a bit too similar to the end of 5 when he was shipped off to China for me. And it was kinda the most predictable ending that could've happened for this season. Besides that I thought the finale was pretty good
|
Again yeah the finale felt like season 5's cliffhanger.
Anyway the whole Audrey thing was clearly forced to see one last Jack revenge kill Cheng.
Not a big fan on how it ended, really dark end for all characters really.

I enjoyed it! I was personally shocked when the second shooter came and got Audrey. I felt maybe just maybe Jack would get a happy ending.
When they kept showing the back of the guys head I was like it has to be someone we know... then its Jack Sparrow's first mate. What the crap!
I hope they continue it but we'll see. Bummed no Tony. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

The Cheng Chop. I also really liked Kate's phone call to Jack. Pretty emotional, she would be a good future jack though if they continue it without Bauer. Though that would leave 0 % chance of a Tony return. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I really liked the split screen shot of Heller, Kate, and Mark. I didn't think they'd be able to wrap up all characters in time, but those three each got pretty sad closure at the end there. I'd really like to see Kate return if they do another season. Back to America and back to CTU Los Angelas pls

^^That pretty much sums up my thoughts about the finale, too.
I don't know what I was expecting but when I realized he was going to be taken by the Russians it was just a "oh no not again, Jack will be tortured for a year or two then come back to save the world again" moment. I am glad Chloe didn't die or become evil, though. There has to be one constant in Jack's life. Audrey's death was also kind of meh to me. Yeah, it was sad but nothing like when Renee died. That was the worst (besides Michelle). And Jack's reaction after hearing about her death was what made it emotional at all for me. Gotta love an enraged Jack. ;)
Is there going to be another season? I'd rather they go back to the 24 episode format. It was kind of weird to just skip to 12 hours later.

I don't think CTU exists anymore, since season 7 if I'm not mistaken, but I do hope we see more Kate in a spinoff or something. OR we could see Jack in MOSCOW.

Season 8 had CTU again. Just season 7 and 9 it wasn't involved | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

Facebook commenters are pissed. I'm pumped. Ya it won't be as good, but I love the premise and writing of 24 so I think it'll still be good | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"
