I was about to deny penner’s post about me being online then I remembered I quit after it was locked because I was trying to tell Penner to just google what a jailer is. If it’s not one of the more traditional roles, I can’t remember what they do. There’s no shame in googling them.
Also, not sure how long a name displays at the bottom, but if I needed to perform some day action and wanted to keep it secret, I would just be sure to get out of the thread then do the action.
TLDR: I’m in the camp that believes it’s dangerous to only look at the people who are online when the thread is locked.
