Selling the idea that spin would lie about his target makes m2h look scummy, but his last several posts make me think he is just being reactionary and lashing out. Neither person is floating the idea of a redirect or bussing, though. Makes me think we might have a 3p vs mafia slapfight going on.

I believe I said yesterday, after I had to claim, that I didn't want to, because I think there is a chance there is a mafia role-fuckery role out there, and I didn't want to become a de facto second mafia kill.

As mittens was poisoned last night (per him), I at least know my role wasn't fucked with last night.

The announcement regarding Mittens read more like a Townie with a Whistle (scaring off a visitor) than the day opening messages, which had different flavor to them (like a community watcher).

Okay so I have a new theory.

At this point I’m all in on Spin being town and if I’m wrong oh well.

Is it possible that if you try to use your action on a Pokémon whose type you would be weak against, that it wouldn’t work?

My original power says something like “if it works, _____” which I mentioned yesterday, but evolving did not make that chance better like I suspected it would.

Also as far as I can tell, my Night 2 action didn’t work.

My action description has no such qualifiers in it. I just poison someone each night, and they die at the end of the next day.

I also think spin is probably town. I've been town reading him for days, and I think it's unlikely that there is no vig in this game.

And the edges

For those of you who are Pokémon-ignorant, every Pokémon has at least one type (I think in Gen 1 which were playing in, they only had one, which would make this easier but I’m not 100% sure) which dictates if your moves would be normally, super, not very much, or not at all effective.

For instance, Grass is strong against Water which is strong against Fire which is strong against Grass. Going the reverse order in that triangle they are all weak against the next.

It’s not all that simple though.

I think there’s shit like normal doesn’t work AT ALL against ghost, maybe same with ground and flying? Psychic is strong against itself, etc
