Today’s game from the parts I was able to see were 2 nfl QBs playing lights out and no defense was going to stop them. Reminded me of the pats vs eagles super bowl a couple years ago

Kind of neat to.see Minnesota doing well. Not a fan or anything. It's just nice to see some new blood.

Offenses who score that quickly can put their own defense behind the 8 ball.

I'm looking forward to the new committee's rankings tonight, where Minnesota doesn't crack the top 10, and Penn State and multiple 2-loss teams remain ahead of them.

If Baylor beats Oklahoma, I guarantee Baylor will leapfrog Minnesota.

A big 12 team not named OU or UT will never be allowed in the fake playoffs. I'm guessing a big 10 team not named Ohio, Michigan, or Penn State will also never get in. A Pac12 school not named Oregon,USC, or cal will also never get in.

Ane even one of those names will be screwed over in any year that Notre Dame does well.

I guess Washington really didn't make it a couple years ago

Because they begrudgingly put a team in there once doesn't make me wrong.

Not that I care much. D1 football has always been the fake assed WWF of collegiate sports. Just pointing out that it will continue to be so.

Actually, it definitely makes you wrong on that point. But until they actually make the playoff, a real playoff, it won't matter. Urban is going to be at USC really soon and you'll have the same 5-6 teams every year and the other teams won't have a realistic shot and the recruits will be forced to the same schools if they want to win.

Gophers have 1 quality win, their schedule has been laughable.

Just keep winning and they get in. Simple.

Laughable? Their strength of schedule is currently ranked better than Clemson's, and its pretty darn close to Alabama's (even with the SEC bias to rankings), and will probably be better after this week's games (Iowa is ranked much higher than Miss. State).

I don't see anyone from "the South" arguing against Clemson or Alabama at the top of the rankings because of "lol schedule".
