Science involves classification into a taxonomy, using observable characteristics. Thus we can tell what is a mammal and what is a marsupial based on the definitions we have provided. In this case, I have clearly shown that each definition provided for hot dog as a separate entity still falls under something considered a sandwich. So, if a hot dog isn't a sandwich, you should be able to provide some clear characteristic that is totally different from other sandwiches. Otherwise, you just want to believe it is different and are arguing from a belief rather than using objectively observable characteristics.

Also- look at these people eating hot dogs.







Whoops- my bad, I thought from the way they were holding them that they were eating hot dogs, but in fact, those were Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches. Here are hot dogs:





It's funny, but those pictures are so similar, I got confused which was a sandwich and which was a hot dog.

I also had Obama eating one, but it made me too sad.

I just know that hot dogs and sandwiches are both food. I like them both.

The orientation or bread separation makes no difference on the taste for me and that's all I care about.

If you don't like John Kerry, how about Jack Nicholson?
