Thinking about it (speaking in optimistic terms about this cast); Hali is for sure one of the cast members that I'm pleased to see again. No, she is by no means a game-changer. But noone is besides arguably 3 of these guys. So at that point it doesn't matter that she doesn't fit the theme.

I'd have to say Hali is one of the most forgotten, underrated 'fun' characters that the show has ever had.

I honestly never expected her to be back after World's Apart. I remember watching her ponderosa video and thinking; 'She's such a cheeky, fun girl. Why didn't they put more emphasis on this to make her more memorable within the show?', and then immediately wishing she'd hopefully come back soon.

I quickly wrote that off my list because I knew she was going to be a Katie.C type in retrospect for many fans. I just always figured she'd be buried under Jenn's legacy, and that'd be the last we ever heard of her.

So I'm honestly more than happy to see her back.

Malcolm's not known for his flashy moves? He only had one flashy move which was giving his second idol to Eddie in his second season. The only thing he is notable for is coming from a decimated tribe and lasting deep into the game on his first season.
