We're going back to the Czech Republic in August but this time the kids are coming with us.

I've been to Lisbon and Porto. Lisbon is one of my favorite cities I've ever visited. I definitely recommend making a day trip to Sintra while you're there. A must see. Also make sure to eat at the mom and pop, family-owned restaurants while you're there. You'll have the best food and it's really cheap.

Make sure to go to Pasteis de Belem and get the famous pasteis de nata.

I was born and raised in California. Lived in Seattle, San Francisco, Paris, and London, and Washington DC over the course of undergraduate studies. Currently living in London, UK but moving back to the U.S. next month!

I've been to more countries than states in my homeland, so when I move back my goal is to see more of the U.S.

Countries I've been to:
Australia
Austria
Belgium
Canada
Czech Republic
Denmark
England
France
Germany
Ireland
Italy
Japan
Netherlands
Portugal
Scotland
Slovakia
Spain
Wales

Since I made this list I've been to:

Malaysia
Singapore
(the Hong Kong airport...lol)

I also never listed states! I need to see more.

U.S. States/territories:
California
Oregon
Washington
Nevada
Colorado
Texas
Illinois
Kentucky
West Virginia
Maryland
Virginia
Delaware
Pennsylvania
District of Columbia
New Jersey
New York
Connecticut
Massachusetts
South Carolina

Good to know, thanks!. I've saved that pastry shop to my TripAdvisor trip so I don't forget. We are definitely looking to go to Sintra at least a day, possibly staying there if there is enough to do. The kiddos are coming along so we won't be moving as quick as we would otherwise so 2-3 days in one place may be more like 1 day for what you'd do without the extra "baggage."

Going to Denver next month for a few days. I stayed there for my academy training at work for a month a few years back, but didn't get out much aside from eating out.

I'm not a big baseball fan and definitely not a Rockies fan but I'm going to a game just to be able to experience one. Live sports are always fun. Also visiting the Denver Zoo and gonna feed some giraffes before I drive back to Utah on Tuesday. Baseball game is late Monday night so I need shit to do during the day and possibly Sunday night if I'm not too tired, any ideas?

ALSO, trying airbnb for the very first time and I'm already very excited. Ended up getting a lower level unit to this really nice lakeside house. The view looks amazing and it's cheaper than a hotel which is insane to me.

If you want to check out something a bit more low key while you're there, downtown Boulder is AWESOME (especially the Pearl St area) and really easy to get to! I also have some hiking recs if you want those

When I was going to school in Laramie, we'd drive down, buy Rockpile tickets for $4 a piece, then just go stand in right field behind the bullpen. Great view, and dirt cheap ticket prices. With it being an early season Monday game, you might be able to sneak into even better seats.

The Denver Science museum is pretty cool, if you are into those things. If you want more outdoors-type things, I'd recommend taking the drive an hour south to Colorado Springs and hike through the Garden of the Gods (if you haven't done it before). It's pretty spectacular. If you just want to stay in Denver, 16th street mall is a good place to walk and eat, and you can also check out what's showing at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

Sadly I probably won't hike due to who I am with. But I plan to do a hiking trip to Colorado sometime in the future. I absolutely love the atmosphere there and it's only a 2 1/2 hour drive to Grand Junction.
