More important question: How the fuck did she kill 2 of Walder's sons without anyone noticing, and on top of that: how did she make a pie that'd otherwise take at the very least 8 hours to make (if you keep the dismemberment of the Frey men into consideration)? She must have killed a kitchen maiden and took her face. Or else she would have been caught. When a scene avokes so many questions, then you know the writing has been going downhill.
They should have kept the Frey pie with Manderly or left it out entirely, and not forcefully put it onto Arya. Pure shock-factor, and no logical sense. I guess it's a nod to book-readers? I dunno. The zoom-in on Ghost before Jon ressurected was a nod, this pie ordeal just feels awkward. | 'Oh my god, it's full of stars!'

Oh shit, that reminds me.
They included Manderley in the episode but they turned him into a tremendous faggot.
I wish they had just not bothered if they were going to make him an asshole who didn't answer his kings call to arms.

Book readers were speculating giddily for ten weeks what the "fat northmen" casting call would yield!

Yeah, we were giddy! So it sucks that this is what we got, haha. Never hype anything up, 98% of the time it doesn't live up to it. < That's atleast the lesson I learned after that scene. :p | 'Oh my god, it's full of stars!'

I was a big fan of the show during the first three seasons. Anything after that I've learned to just treat as entertaining television, and I am prepared to just suspend my disbelief for the rest of the show because I just know it's not going to be the same show anymore. It's not as horrible as it could be, but it is very on-the-nose, conventional and it's evident that they're blowing a lot more money on a glossy image than on worldbuilding and adding book characters to the show.
I'll watch it until it ends, and hopefully we will get to read the last two books in this lifetime!

Episode was a pretty good episode overall! Something decent from what has been quite honestly a dismal two seasons of television overall. This and last week's have managed to revive my interest.
Still a fair few faults, but can't complain too much.
That score in the BURN THEM ALL scene was terrific.
