Some friends and I are entering into a 12 month homebrew contest:
Every 4-6 weeks you must submit a beer for judging, and each round there will be a secret ingredient that must be used. The opening round starts next week Tuesday - I will update as we go along.
Any other homebrew fans out there? I have only just started this past year, and brewed 4 different batches. I fully enjoy drinking beer, so having a batch of 45 or so bottles is quite the payoff.

Palo Santo is fantastic. It's on regular tap at the DFH Alehouse near me and is my go to if there isn't something special oiin tap I have to have. My wife always grabs a Burton Baton. | How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat? |

Been drinking a lot of imperial stouts and barleywines given the colder weather, plus a ton of bourbon barrel stuff. Here is what I was drinking last night, along with some Dogfish Head Olde School:

Hey! This thread is for me!
Right now in the beer fridge I have:
1. A few Sublimely Self-Righteouses
2. A Rochefort 10
3. An Avec Les Bons Voeux (For the wife)
4. Saison De Lente (For the wife)
5. Stone Bitter Chocolate Oakmeal (Small Batch)
6. Sierra Nevada's 30th Anniversary Grand Cru
7. Firestone Parabola (2012)
That's all I can remember
Living in LA, I don't get much excuse to drink stouts or porters.

Light beer just has extra water.
Like anything, if you consume the full version, you are more satisfied and actually have less of it in the long run.
And of course I'm an early poster on this. |
