who's everyone's main companion been?

I was with Strong for a while and he's probably been my favorite. For some reason him yelling at you every time you mod something and his passing comments about how he still thinks the super mutants should genocide humans are still amusing to me even after the 1000th iteration. I only ended up getting rid of him because he kept preemptively starting fights with neutral parties (:

I'm with Piper right now but I dunno how much longer I will, since most of the decisions she 'likes' are the opposite of how I usually play. Although I've somehow gotten into her good graces sheerly from all the lockpicking I've done. They definitely seem to have put the most work into her though, I don't remember any of my previous companions interacting with the environment as seamlessly as she does

so far:
Strong > Piper > Valentine > Codsworth > Danse > Dogmeat > that minuteman fuck

MacCready is my favourite, hands down.

I like Preston (: I feel like I am the only one though! My playstyle has been very goody-two-shoes and Settlements-oriented though, so he hasn't ever gotten pissy over anything I did (I'm pretty sure I'm close to maxed out respect from him actually). I just switched him out for Piper for a while but I'm going to go back with him when I get a break in the main quest to go retake the Castle. Dogmeat was nice but I enjoy the companions discussing the quests and stuff too much to go back

to be fair I just don't like the minutemen in general, I think I'm still just bitter that the game tries to force you to befriend them. The only one I like is the fortune teller grandma. Even though all the information she told me ended up being useless

Piper admires me already, but I'm gonna swap her out for Nick now that the plot makes the most sense with Nick.

The Kellogg's brain quest would be great if it wasn't for the stupid doctor's terrible dialogue and voice acting. Introspective thoughts of a dead mercenary, reflecting on his life and mistakes, followed by OH NO THAT WAS THE WRONG MEMORY LET'S TRY NEW MEMORY this lady is my least favorite character

I just spent the last hour or so trying to build a tower at great garden to get to the highway overpass. Unfortunately I am running very low on building supplies because of projects just like this, so in the end I just built a raider style home in a bus on the overpass

I like Strong the best so far. I have romanced Piper, Cait, and McCreedy so far and maxed Nick. Using Hancock right now but haven't gotten a feel for him yet.

Anybody gud with computers? This game used to work on my computer flawlessly. All the sudden, it loads with massive framerate issues
