Cagayan Fantasy: Episode 1

All three tribes were asked to designate a leader. Boc, Matt, and Patrick were chosen for the Brains, Brawn, and Beauty tribes respectively; they then had to pick their tribe's weakest player as Boc, Matt, and Patrick chose JJ, Shawn and Shadow respectively. All three were flown by helicopter to their respective camps, while the remaining tribe members had to walk to camp. The weakest players were given the choice when they got to camp, choosing either an extra bag of rice for the tribe or a clue to a hidden immunity idol. JJ and Shadow chose to look for the Idol, but only JJ found one, while Shawn chose the extra bag of rice. Chris began to bond with Shadow after noticing bonds were forming between Patrick and Curtis, and Bryce and Dylan. At the Brawn camp, Rose immediately recognized Vernon, but the tribe didn't care about his professional sports past. Matt confronted KC, as she pegged him as a being cop, but he denied it and claimed to be a construction worker. At the Brains camp, Animal was leading the tribe in building their shelter, coming across as bossy.

At the challenge, the Brawns and the Beauty tribe took a big lead; by the time the Brains tribe began the puzzle, the other tribes were almost finished. The Beauty tribe finished first with the Brawn tribe coming in second. At the Brains camp, Brian and Boc debated over who to vote out: Brian wanted Animal out for her poor attitude and work ethic, while Boc wanted to target JJ, who he saw as a threat later in the game. JJ was conflicted between voting for Animal and Boc after being selected by Boc as the weakest tribe member. Animal and DD agreed to JJ's plan, but Vic was paranoid about Boc potentially having an idol and believed Animal was the easier vote. In the end, Vic sided with JJ and Boc was voted out.

After the vote, Brian found herself in a swing vote position, sitting between Vic and JJ, and Animal and DD. She eventually agreed to an alliance with with Vic and JJ. At the Brawns camp, Vernon and Rose began to bond, while KC wasn't fond of Vernon's popularity within the tribe. Shawn and Mal got into an argument over workload. KC built a hiding spot in the shelter, named the "Spy Shack" to eavesdrop on his tribes' conversations. At the Beauty camp, Curtis and Shadow bonded, while Chris attempted to solidify and alliance with them.

At the challenge, the Brawn and Brain tribes took an early lead over the Beauty tribe. As the Brawn tribe placed first, Animal of the Brain tribe was having a hard time with the puzzle. The Beauty tribe managed to come from behind and place second, sending the Brains to their second straight Tribal Council.

After the challenge, KC found a clue to the hidden immunity idol in the reward and ended up finding it. At the Brains camp, JJ wanted to have an open discussion with the tribe on who to send home as he, Brian, and Vic agreed on voting out Animal. DD got into an argument with JJ, claiming she wanted to strategize and JJ wasn't playing the game right. JJ, annoyed by her attitude, said he doesn't want anyone having private talks with each other. When DD attempted to privately talk with Brian about flipping and voting out JJ, JJ and Vic followed them down to the beach. While Animal was left alone at the camp, she dumped most of the tribe's rice into the fire due to being angry at her tribe for wanting to vote her out. At Tribal Council, JJ got into an argument with Animal and DD, and outed his alliance with Vic and Brian. In the end, Brian flipped and sided with the girls, voting out JJ.
