Oh great how will MLK Jr's assassination negatively effect Betty
"Why are you destroying this house?!?!?!?" Ugh |

This scene with William Mapother is hysterical
"I was trying to communicate silently, but it didn't work."
"Randy, it NEVER works."
Then when he's making those weird grunt/chanting sounds, Roger's face and response are so funny

"Tell me exactly what your mother said."
"I'm not allowed to watch TV for a week."
*cut to Don and Bobby at the movies*
Don finding that loophole to defy Betty
"I can't wait for people to meet you. Really meet you, Betty."
Be careful what you ask for Henry!

Is that the one where Don/Bobby see Planet of the Apes? I love those scenes. The first good scenes with Bobby that I can recall really (:

Yeah it is. I was thinking the same thing about Bobby. It's the first time we get much of anything out of him. His line to the theater employee about going to the movies when you're sad was nice
Then he's worried Henry's gonna get shot like MLK did, but not Don. And Don offers that great comforting line/Henry insult all in one. "Henry's not that important."

I hate Herb from Jaguar so much. This dinner with him and his wife is so awkward
Wife: Each pup at its own nipple!
Don: ... I love puppies.
Don is so hysterical in these awkward moments
Don just told Herb off. YES. That was excellent. Fuck Herb. lol Don's in big trouble though
Oh GAWD Peter just ran into his father in law at the whore house. So awkward. "The biggest, blackest prostitute you've ever seen."
looooooooooool Pete falling down the stairs while yelling at Don. That might be the hardest I've ever laughed from this show
The scene between Joan and Don made me sad. I liked how Don tried to stop her from sleeping with Herb last year, so it's upsetting that he didn't consider how much he'd be pissing her off here by ending their relationship with Jaguar
MERGER. Very cool. I like when things change around the office and such and this should be a big one. Plus it's coming mid season which is surprising and nice to see
This was a great episode. Best of the season so far I think |

- MERGER TIME! Big changes coming. Fun atmosphere
- Uh oh Joan felt something in her stomach. Is she pregnant with Herb's kid? That would be terrible. I'm not sure if the timeline supports that tho
- Burt not knowing the end of his speech and Pete not having a seat were funny. I like this meeting scene
- I loved Roger firing Burt again
- loool Bob Benson running into Burt on the stairs. Who the hell is this Bob Benson anyway! His brown nosing scenes are hysterical
- "I just talked to Don." "Black or white?"
- lol Ted getting way too drunk because he's not accustomed to how they do it there
- "I have no place else to go." I like Bob Benson suddenly
- Don's horny as FUCK in this episode! Lots of orders and roleplaying
- "And, well, it's Saint Patrick's Day." "It's MAY." "No it's not."
- This scene in Ted's plane is great
- Oh good Joan's not pregnant
- "It's over when I say it's over." Don channeling some Walter White
- I like the scene where Pete's mother tells him that Kennedy was shot and he assumes she's confused and means John
- That ending was great. With the music playing over the news about Bobby as it fades to black |

I love these trippy episodes. This one and last season's with Roger on episode. This was probably my favorite of the season
I loved how awkward and different things were. Like watching Don and others run around and talking faster than they usually do. The loss of time too. Everything was so strange
The best of the drug scenes WERE: Ken tap dancing, Don running around that creative room a few times before finally casually entering and giving a typical great Don speech for no reason, and Ginsberg throwing the exacto knife into Stan. Cool to learn more about Stan too through the news of his cousin
Don's turned into a bit of a CREEP! Standing outside Sylvia's door for possibly hours and listening through the door. I thought her husband was gonna catch him. That would've been awkward
The lady robbing Don's house was so random but I liked it. It was actually pretty TENSE tbh. I didn't want Sally to go hug her. Bobby's "Are we negroes?" line was so hilarious
"Every time we get a car, this place turns into a whore house.” Great last line |
