With the draft starting tonight, and trades already going on, might as well start the new season thread.
The T-Wolves have the 1st pick tonight, and I have absolutely no idea what they are going to do with it. Nor do I really have a strong feeling towards making the pick (probably Edwards or Ball) or trading back.

yeah there is really not clear cut #1 pick this year. just read that Detroit sold a 2nd round pick in next years draft for $4.6 million. i remember when the max cash you could send in a trade was $3 million and a late 1st round pick would maybe get you that.

Wolves trade for Rubio. Of course. Why not. It worked so well the first time, why not run it back again.

My one annoyance with the NBA draft is I never really know who my team picked. There are so many trades that unless you follow (and only follow) Woj or Shams on twitter, you have no idea who is picking where and with whose pick. I'm pretty sure the Wolves drafted Edwards, then they used their later picks to maybe pick up a bunch more PGs and/or wings?

I think they ended up with Bolmoro from Argentina and the forward from Washington.

how does Marcus Morris get 4/$64 million? it makes no sense. and Harrel goes to the Lakers for 2/$20, feels like Klutch sports special tampering again. wonder how they will get him the extra money? Davis will probably be in Space Jam 2.

Jordan again showing why he is the worst owner in the NBA. Giving Hayward 4/$120 and stretching Batum to do it. somehow the one time he is not stingy its an even worse move then normal.
