I'm already fairly intelligent and fairly good looking and not emotionally stable at all. >_> I'd rather not be ugly or dumb. Or rather being dumb is worse than being emotionally unstable and so is being ugly. So really I would never pick to be dumb or ugly.

Emotional stability is overrated

Emotionally stable and intelligent tbh. Intelligence is the most important factor in the three.

Good-looking and emotionally stable. It's hard to be happy if you're ugly and emotionally unstable. But you can be perfectly happy without being intelligent. Ignorance is bliss.

That may work for guys, but pretty girls aren't expected to know things like how to change a tire. :x

You'd be amazed how ineffectual intelligence can actually be. You can be the smartest dudes in the world and still get completely throatpunched by the system. As for good looks, ehhh. My mileage on that one varies. At worst I'm average-looking, and at best I once got free food for being handsome, so I have no idea where I actually fall on the hot-or-not scale. Can't give a valid opinion on whether it's worth having. Mind you, it's certainly a lot easier to get people to do your bidding if you're attractive, and that's always something I'm in favor of.

Personally I'd take the first two, if only because it's reasonably straightforward to get all three: there are pills to cure emotional instability, which are cheaper and easier to acquire than plastic surgery, and they'll never find a cure for stupid.

Emotional stability and intelligence would give lots of money. Which you could use to get plastic surgery.

Some emotional instabilities dont fix with popping pills. In some cases there arnt any pills to pop, only thing they can do with you is keep you drugged and locked up. What good would that do? You can be smart and good looking all you want in that small cell at the insane asylum!

I assume you would be very stressed and anxious all day long, you could be popping xanex all day long but how much focus can you actually keep on those pills? Could you actually do anything with that intelligence? (If you picked GL and Intel)

Kinda depends on the severity of the emotional stability, if its very severe I doubt you could do anything productive with the intelligence.

I am kinda assuming you would be "best" in the two things you pick and "worst" in the one you dont in this poll. Maybe too extreme but the severity isnt really specified in the poll.

Incredibly smart, incredibly good looking, very emotionally instable

Lets say you are top 5 in the ones you pick and bottom 5 in the one you dont. If you pick a professions like business, computer science, math, physics etc etc you MUST be making big bucks if you are top 5 right?

If you are a really smart business man you WILL get rich. Making good investments = lot of cash.

In computer science, being in the top 5 bracket you would probably be working on something cutting edge. Something new that would change the world. So if you get the right idea and implement said idea correctly you are going to get very very rich. Google, Facebook and other huge companies would also probably be willing to pay a lot of money to have the top 5 working for them.

How much would NASA pay to have the best physicist / mathematician in the world? There are probably a lot of companies out there aswell that would pay a lot of money to have the best mathematician working for them. You could probably pay rent at least.

Good looks fade away with age. Emotional instability will follow you to your grave, especially if its a very severe one. Like I said earlier, the shrinks might think it best for society to lock your coocoo ass in some asylum ;)

You bring up some good points tbh Ari but I don't think that was the point of the question lol.

Perhaps a better way to look at it is top 25% in the world/bottom 25% for the other. Question doesn't say you are at the top.

I said it was extreme :P

I still maintain that even being in the top 25% of business, CS, math, physics and other select profressions will get you a lot of cash.
