After a confusing day of death and resurrection, you look forward to some relaxing time on the trail as you head to your next destination. However, there is no such thing as relaxing on the Oregon Trail! A terrible thunderstorm has fallen upon your wagon party. You never know how long, or how bad, a storm could be on the trail. So, the wagon train is faced with a choice: to seek shelter, and possibly spend many days off the trail; or continue on, and risk the consequences that inclement weather might bring.
You all look to your fearless leader, Josh, to decide.
Josh was given two options: A.) Wait out the storm or B.) Risk it and trek on through the storm.
Josh chose option B.) Risk it and trek on through the storm.
The storm raged on, but the caravan powered through. Torrential downpours, frightening winds, and loud claps of thunder make you nervous as you progress on the trail. All of your wagons take serious damage, but thankfully you all came out of it alive.
Everyone’s wagon was damaged in the storm. You all use one spare wagon part from your inventories to fix the damage in order to carry on.
--------
Unfortunately, however, not everyone survived the night…
During the storm, Buffy had a very hard time keeping her oxen in check. They were constantly spooked by the thunder claps, despite their reputation.
At one loud clap of thunder, her wagon was driven off the trail. She lost total control of her wagon, and her oxen just went crazy! As Buffy’s wagon rapidly moved downhill toward a nearby boulder, ejecting Buffy from the wagon. Her body lay crushed between the wagon and the boulder.
Buffy has died.

Occupation: Auctioneer
Role: Auctioneer
You’re a fast talking Missouri woman with a lot of items and a burning desire to sell them to the highest bidder. While on a journey to new lands, you figure it couldn’t hurt to auction some goods off to the people.
Each night, pick one of the below items. During the following day, the item you pick will be put up for silent auction (players will PM the hosts their intent to participate along with their bids). The person who places the highest bid will receive the item. You may not participate in the auction, but you will receive the money from the item.
Below are the items up for auction:
Bow and arrow
Rifle
First aid kit
Wild mushroom
You are aligned with the TOWN. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
You will start with the following items in your inventory:
-Team of oxen to pull wagon: 4 oxen (need at least 2 to “move” or perform night action)
- Sets of clothing: 2, one for summer and one for winter
- ammunition for your hunting rifle - 1 round (1 round = 1 hunt)
- spare parts for your wagon - 3 parts
- Food - 5 food rations
Starting funds: $75
|
Meanwhile, near the tail end of the wagon train, Reaper was found with a bullet in the back of his head.
Reaper has died.

Occupation: Pharmacist
Role: Pharmacist
You are a well-off pharmacist from a small Missouri town, who has found yourself making the long, treacherous trek to the Willamette Valley! You are well stocked with remedies that fight off disease and are more than happy to distribute them to fellow emigrants in need.
Each day phase you may select a player to anonymously send either a ration of castor oil (cures dysentery) or quinine water cures typhoid). Do this by PMing the host.

Despite all this terrible death, a new day has begun! The storm pulls away, and sunlight peaks through. It looks like a beautiful day for a lynch. However, one player’s food supply suddenly isn’t looking so good!
Brian has starvation!
Brian must acquire a ration of food by the end of the day or he will die.
--------
It is now late May, and you have arrived at your next destination - Chimney Rock. As you begin to settle in, you are approached by a man from another wagon train. He says he is looking to sell a shotgun for some extra cash, and offers it for $150.
You all decide to leave it up to a newly elected leader.
You will elect a new leader today. That leader will decide if he or she would like to purchase the shotgun for the wagon train’s protection. The leader may use his own personal funds to pay for this...however, he can also accept donations. Other players may gift up to $20 of their funds to the leader tonight. These donations will not be anonymous; the leader will know who gave him or her money. Also, the leader will be able to keep any extra funds they receive.
To vote for the leader, please use ##elect leader <name>.
You are also electing a new lookout. Like last time, the lookout will not be able to perform their normal night action.
To elect a lookout, please use ##elect lookout <name>.
And also like last time, one of the leader & the lookout will be immune from night kills.
--------
Plurality is in effect. With 21 alive, it takes 11 to lynch. The deadline is approximately 23 hours from now (9PM ET).

I think we need to take a close look at people who didn’t vote day 1 or had minimum input it. Scum obviously knew Gmaj and rod were both town so they didn’t care about who died there. | |

The flavor I was given made it seem like if we waited, it would burn a good amount of days. I know from the game that if you let the journey wait too long, it gets much more difficult towards the winter months & I figured taking the risk earlier and saving us from more winter days would be better. | |
