Everyone was good in it. I liked Amy Brenneman in season 1. The acting she did while never saying a word!

i've thought she was great since gone girl. really magnetic screen presence, really committed to the bitterness and frustration of the character, but expressed naturally, which always hit against the melodramatic (in a good way) tone of the show in a really nice way. that's true of most of the actors, with the exception of the kids, who i never thought got to be especially good - barring tom's two hander with liv tyler last season. my god | | |
