I nominate...

Close-Up 1990 Drama/Crime 1h 40m

While reading a novel by Iranian director Mohsen Makhmalbaf on the bus, Ali Sabzian strikes up a conversation with a pretty Iranian girl, Mahrokh Ahankhah. When she tells him her Iranian family admires Makhmalbaf's work, Ali pretends to be the Iranian filmmaker to impress her. Becoming friendly with the Ahankhahs, Ali tells them he is preparing a new movie, but when they uncover his true identity, he is arrested for fraud. This film reenacts the true story of the incident, with Ali and the family playing themselves.

Delirious

1991

Jack Gable (John Candy), a soap opera writer with little in the way of a love life -- and even less job security -- takes a knock on the head one day and wakes up in the very television show he has been writing. He discovers that through his typewriter he can control events in his new reality. At first, Jack believes this will help him impress Laura (Emma Samms), the actress who plays the program's star, but soon he realizes that no matter how much power he has, he can't control everything.

True Romance

https://letterboxd.com/film/true-romance/

Written but not directed by Tarantino. Supposed to be a bit wild and full of kooky characters, I feel like it could be a fun group watch

The Mule - Broke, alone and facing foreclosure on his business, 90-year-old horticulturist Earl Stone takes a job as a drug courier for a Mexican cartel. His immediate success leads to easy money and a larger shipment that soon draws the attention of hard-charging DEA agent Colin Bates. When Earl's past mistakes start to weigh heavily on his conscience, he must decide whether to right those wrongs before law enforcement and cartel thugs catch up to him.

(because I have a newfound respect for Clint Eastwood)

A Bronx Tale
Robert De Niro, Chazz Palminteri, Lillo Brancato
Set in the Bronx during the tumultuous 1960s, an adolescent boy is torn between his honest, working-class father and a violent yet charismatic crime boss. Complicating matters is the youngster’s growing attraction – forbidden in his neighborhood – for a beautiful black girl.

I’d like to nominate...

THE SCHOOL!

The inspiration behind the Letterbox’d banner for clearly being one of the worst films ever. And they finally put it on Hulu!
