I watched this last night and I gotta say, I think this might be my favorite movie we've watched behind Victoria.
I started it with the intention of probably finishing it today, but the movie kept my attention the entire 123 minutes. The tease before the title screen alone was just so perfect. The writing for this movie is perfect. Every scene flows together so effortlessly. You get so invested in what everyone is going through and you can't help but feel sorry for everyone.
I can't say enough about the writing. Every single character is written so well. You understand the motivation for every decision that every character makes. Everyone feels so human and so misguided at times, you might not like what some people are doing, but at the very least you can understand why. The acting is just so great too. Everything just compliments each other so well.
I love that Asghar Farhadi directed, produced, AND wrote this movie. This guy seriously knows what he's doing. I would not mind watching some of his other movies.
