WELCOME TO FLASH GAME JAMBOREE 4: BOOM-SHACKA-LACKA!
As with all Flash Game Jamboree tournaments prior, we will need to start with a qualifying round. With 22 active participants, we will need to determine brackets by giving 10 lucky competitors a bye in the first round. Keep in mind that participation in this round is optional, however, it is highly recommended you compete to earn yourself exemption from elimination. Nobody will be eliminated in this qualifying round, regardless of scores.
Unlike previous tournaments with a Mortal Kombat theme, this one will have an NBA Jam theme to it! And for that reason we have a very appropriate little game for you all to play for this qualifying round. Some of you may remember Brian beating out Vlady in this game prior. It's time for...
Dunkers
In this bizarre game, you will control a pink haired man with enormous arms growing out of his cheeks as he embarks on a basketball career in which games consist only of two men flailing their arms around until someone dunks on the other. Use the arrow keys to fling your man across the court, fighting for the ball and attempting to use the physics to guide it into the basket before your opponent does. For this game, you will be playing "arcade" mode, in which you will play an endless gauntlet of opponents. The game will keep track of your streak, this is the score that you will be judged on. You can unlock different competitors as you progress through arcade and career mode and are free to use them, if you wish to do so. Who your character is does not matter, but keep in mind you are only judged on arcade. The TEN competitors who have the most amount of wins in a row without losing will move on. In the case of a tie, submission time will break it.
Once you are satisfied with the streak that you have, PM me your score. You can submit as many scores as you want if you beat your previous best. Note the tiebreaker. I will keep this open until Thursday the 20th at 7 PM MST. Once results are posted, the tournament will officially start.

If you missed sign-ups, you can still play! Remember this is a qualifying round. Players who did not sign-up initially have until Wednesday to submit a score in. Keep in mind the amount of qualifiers will change depending on the amount of competitors.
I also understand this took a bit to get going so if you are no longer interested in playing this, I need to know ASAP. We've had issues with no shows in the past and had someone almost win by being against no shows all tournament :lookatallthismeat: |

Yeah.
Keep in mind since flash games were only cool in the mid 2000's that a lot of them will not work with an adblocker on. |
