I'm not listing every series out there. Just a few that come to mind that maybe i haven't seen or my gf hasn't seen.

Mission Impossible is there because I want to see the latest one and I might drag the gf to it.

Hobbit i loved LOTR but never quite finished this series.

Saw stopped after the first 2, not sure if i have the stomach to keep going.

50 Shades not a chance in hell but i had to have an answer for Ahoda

Marvel and Dc speak for themselves, with Marvel having the broader storyline.

And of course, I'd like to hear some others that i am obviously missing.
I'm looking for stuff I prob haven't watched though. Don't tell me Star Wars or Jurassic Park I've seen all those.

Danke.

Mission Impossible is easily the most consistent out of those

Saw is a personal favorite but if you're already starting to doubt if you can handle it then...you probably can't handle it, they get worse and typically grosser

Hobbit was...idk. Not the best!

the rest stink

Superhero stuff is a mixed bag.
Saw movies suck. (It's actually just one movie with new gross outs in each version)
The Hobbit stuff drug on for me and took itself too seriously.
Read the divergent books. Haven't seen the movies.
MI movies are OK if you're in the mood for action.
Haven't watched 50 shades.

Maybe these:
Indiana jones series
Bourne series (if you like MI...)
bond
Fast and F
ROCKY
JAWS
Alien

Mission Impossible's easily the best out of those options. Also Bourne if you haven't seen those (at least the original trilogy)?

Marvel's worth it if you haven't already seen their best movies (Guardians/Iron Man/Spiderman). It's like 25% good-great movies, 50% okay movies, 25% bad movies

And DC I'm assuming you mean the DCEU or whatever and that you've seen the Nolan trilogy. Otherwise OBVIOUSLY watch that

I can't stand Tom Cruise, so I can't give an opinion on MI.

Hobbit I think strayed so far from the book that I've only seen bits of it, but not actually sat down to watch the movies in their entirety.

Never got into the Saw stuff. If you want horror series that's fun, Do Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness instead. Especially Army of Darkness.

If you want bad BDSM erotica that was originally a fanfic of a "horror" series written by a Mormon, then 50 Shades is for you. Otherwise, skip as fast as possible.

If you haven't seen the Cornetto Trilogy, do it!

I forgot Army of Darkness. Those were good.

I've only seen 2 of the cornetto movies. Not what I would consider a series, though.

It's only got one less movie than Indiana Jones!

And I think the same number as 50 Shades, unless you count the 50 Shades of Black parody

I think he’s referring to the lack of narrative connection between the three movies

I won't argue about narrative cohesion and Crystal Skull.

I'd probably watch the Star Wars prequels again before I'd watch The Hobbit movies again. At least those were so-bad-it's-good in some spots, whereas The Hobbit was just like...depressingly mediocre. If you do watch them I'd try to find a good fan edit cuz honestly there's at least a decent movie(s) in there somewhere, it's main (but not only) problem was how ridiculously bloated it got for such a simple story

I think I read that Topher Grace just made an edit of them actually.
