HEY WELCOME BACK! IT'S MY TIME AGAIN

I'm back with five more, critically acclaimed, un-fun movies!! I haven't seen any of these but I've been interested in seeing all five at some point. A couple are fairly new but hopefully we'll be able to find them online somewhere. If not I'm 100% sure Ahoda will upload it to his Plex



The Rider: After suffering a near fatal head injury, a young cowboy undertakes a search for new identity and what it means to be a man in the heartland of America.

Krisha: Krisha returns for Thanksgiving dinner after ten years away from her family, but past demons threaten to ruin the festivities.

The Station Agent: When his only friend dies, a man born with dwarfism moves to rural New Jersey to live a life of solitude, only to meet a chatty hot dog vendor and a woman dealing with her own personal loss.

The Tale: An investigation into one woman's memory as she is forced to re-examine her first sexual relationship and the stories we tell ourselves in order to survive.

A Most Violent Year: In New York City 1981, an ambitious immigrant fights to protect his business and family during the most dangerous year in the city's history.


Up to five votes each. This is going up on the 14th so we're gonna have one less day to vote but no biggie, just vote as soon as you see this. Whichever movie is leading towards the end of tomorrow night will be our pick

Krisha just didn’t look that appealing to me and I’m not a big fan of Laura Dern. Don’t know if I could make it through an entire movie where she’s reliving some sexual encounter.

The other 3 all look very good to me.

Voted for all of them on day one. I haven't seen any of them and wouldn't mind watching 'em either.

1. The Tale
2. A Most Violent Year
3. Krisha
4. The Station Agent
5. The Rider

That's probably how I'd rank my interest with tiny gaps in between all them and maybe a slightly bigger gap before The Rider.

I'd only watch the rider if he's gay. I'll vote the other four.

TIE GAME

Three way tie between The Rider/Krisha/Station Agent. I'm gonna go for the one I've been meaning to watch for the longest.......KRISHA!

Super quick movie, like 88 minutes I think. That's a BREEZE! And the added benefit of being an a24 movie

I believe Rose said it was on amazon prime if that helps anyone
