The new league season starts tonight (unofficially) with the NBA Draft. Who you hoping your favorite team takes? Will your team make the right moves in Free Agency (starting early July)?

I'm looking forward to Ayton getting drafted #1. I watched a ton of his games with Arizona, and the dude is a beast.
I'm interested in seeing who the T-Wolves pick, as this is the lowest they've drafted in a long while, so it'll be a name that hasn't had a ton of focus leading up to the draft.

Things holding pretty much to form so far through 10 picks. Kings pass on Doncic at 2, then the Hawks take him but ship him to Dallas for a future 1st and Trae Young. There is a good chance Dallas just found their new Dirk.
The "how far will Michael Porter drop" sweepstakes is currently in full force.

ROFL
Mikal Bridges just did a bunch of interviews on how excited he was to stay at home and be drafted by the 76ers. He starred at Villanova and his mom works for the 76ers. He was just traded to Phoenix.
That should make for an interesting day at the office tomorrow.

I'm not excited about the Wolves pick. They need a 3 point shooter, as they are probably the worst 3-point shooting team in the league. So, instead of drafting a shooter, they draft a guard who is an outstanding defender, but struggles to both get his own shot, and knock down open shots when given them.
Maybe Tibs should stick to just coaching, and not being a GM as well.

Grayson Allen to Utah. Who would have thought that the Jazz would draft a white guy?

Hey Curtis or KC - If you see this thread, you might as well rename it "Spin's NBA Draft blog" or "Spin's quest for 10k posts", because nobody else could care at all.

i care, i was just afk. Charlotte made a good trade today, moving back 1 spot and still getting the guy they wanted, plus two 2nd round picks. but now MJ will sell at least one of those picks, after all he has already shown all he cares about is money right now, trading Howard and picking up ~$16 million next off season, killing there cap.

also that was cold blooded by Philly, makes me wonder if Mike Zarin secretly accepted the GM job.

odd pick by Philly, not a stash player or a off ball shooter. i guess maybe he can play off ball, but its not his best asset.

looks like instead they flipped the picks for the #34 pick, not a bad move.

Pumped for Denver’s pick. They got a deep team but need a star. Could flame out but could be the guy | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"
