How do you order a steak. Choose one above, and let us know if it differs with cut of meat, etc...

This poll should have 2options only. Rare and medium rare

Rare if it's really good meat. (Farm fresh, cut to spec)
Medium rare if it's OK meat. (Sirloin, or other precut grocery store stuff.)

If you have to leave beef country, just order fish or chicken or something. (Or else dig really deep in that wallet and find some decent meat)

When I was young and dating, I took a girl to this place that made unbelievable prime rib. My date sent it back 3 times because it was "too pink" They finally brought her a burnt patio steak or something so she would stfu.

We never spoke again afterwards.

I usually get it medium rare.

I voted medium well because that's how I eat it in home.

But I go for medium rare when going out.

I usually shoot for Medium.

My 13-year old boy likes it Med-Rare ... he's starting his "growth-spurt eating" recently ...

Medium Rare, if you eat anything above Medium you should literally kill yourself

I just want it warm in the middle. That's most likely a medium, but I do prefer medium rare for prime rib.

Growing up, "steak" in my family meant my dad would cook sirloin to well done (i.e. Hockey puck) on the grill. I wasn't a huge steak fan then.

Sirloin is barely steak to start with.

I used to do just a quick seer on both sides, but I like it a little more done than that now.

I've never heard of blue rare, but I looked it up and around here that's what we call rare.
