I said help strangers. If I have a dollar to spare when someone asks for money on the subway, I usually give it over. But I don't really do much else. | | |

I've donated money to a couple of institutions (one for poor kids, other for reforestation), but I only do it in the scarce times I'm secure of my income. Which I'm totally not right now.
Also, if a beggar gets to convince me (because there are lots of scams in the train), I help them too.
If I'm on a downtown walk by myself I'll probably pay a meal for someone. ._. | Signature machine broke. |

I donate to my friend’s Alzheimer’s walk each year so I can feel like a good person
I help my family members financially if needed
I shoveled my neighbor’s driveway all winter because she’s a pregnant single mother
I donate all of my time and energy into FE so a bunch of spoiled brats have distractions during work | |

I've done most of these. I don't donate time at the humane society like I used to, but because I don't have much time left. I have never started a charity, either.
A big chunk of my time and money goes to helping family these days, but I still like to tip at a drive through or pay it forward once in awhile, and I always try to help my neighbors.

I sometimes donate to people on Go Fund Me who need medical treatment or stuff like that. I sometimes lend my family money, and I often help my step dad with work.
Erm, I help strangers out now and again. I once saw a disabled woman crawling on the floor in her house, and I went up to her and asked if she needed help. She said 'No' and closed the door in my face...probably thought I was a mugger.
Oh, and I stopped a guy dropping an expensive bottle of alcohol at the supermarket.
