With the Oscars fast approaching this coming weekend, and since most of us discuss movies to no end in here, I decided to post a Poll question regarding the Academy Awards. Listed above are the last 16 Academy Award Winners for Best Picture. Our task is to award the Best Picture Academy Award from the past 16 years.

Nominate your 3 favorites, and this weekend I'll post a bonus Poll with the top 5-6 nominees for us to vote for the overall winner.

I've only seen Slumdog and Argo. So I voted for them.
"So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I voted for Slumdog Millionaire, The Departed and LOTR: Return of the King

I've watched all multiple times and never mind watching then when they are playing.

1. The Lord of the Rings
2. No Country for Old Men
3. The Departed
-----------------------
4. Moonlight
5. Birdman
-----------------------
6. 12 Years a Slave
7. Slumdog Millionaire
8. The Hurt Locker
-----------------------
9. The Artist
10. Argo

Something like this! 2-5 are almost interchangeable but #1 is rock solid

I already forgot what I voted for but I know I put down Chicago because it's hands-down the best movie-musical ever made. IMO!

I think I voted for The King's Speech & Moonlight/Slumdog but I can't remember on the latter.

Shape of Water is the odds on favorite from what I've heard. With a slim chance for Three Billboards

That would be an absolute travesty. The second worst Best Picture winner I’ve seen....EVER!

That IS an absolute travesty

Except for the knowing nothing about them part. It’ll make them even better when you watch them. GET ON IT!

I haven't seen some (a lot) of these but I picked:

A Beautiful Mind - Because it's a beautiful movie
Spotlight - Great movie, too
The King's Speech - Because Colin Firth
