I laughed at that line too. I hope that’s the only exposition about the villain that we get. I hope it’s never once mentioned/shown why he’s evil or what exactly he does that makes him evil outside of that one line

It looks like very try-hard humor and the final scene starts off and I thought it was supposed to be funny except it cut to the line that was supposed to bring it home and it CONFUSED ME?? I know venom isn't always serious and "We're venom" is kind of an iconic venom line but this felt ... shoehorned at best.
