Where would you go if you had a free vacation for one week, all expenses paid, with babysitting/pet-sitting all taken care of? So, no worries back at home, you have the time off at work, and you can just take off and it doesn't cost you anything.

I started out kind of specific with countries but was running out of room so I added continents like Africa and South America, but when you post you can obviously be specific about the city/country/continent.

I want to take a trip to east Asia and visit Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and maybe end trashed in Thailand.
I think Hong Kong is the most expensive of them so I'd start the vacation with a free week there (:

Either Japan or France, but probably Japan since it's farther away.

I'd be down for almost any of those but top choices would probably be Italy, Iceland, Netherlands, and Japan

gave the edge to Netherlands tho

I thought the subtitle of this thread said "family vacation destinations" and I was going to say 'ew why would I want to go on vacation with my family, I would go on vacation to get away from them'

I agree with you on Iceland and New Zealand. Returning to the Caribbean would also be pretty nice. If it's a true vacation, you can't beat drinking pina coladas and eating jerk chicken on the beach all day long for a week. Plus, you don't have to spend a whole day/night flying there.

I said South America. I really want to go do some backpacking in Patagonia, but also go to Peru and see Machu Picchu. I've always wanted to go to Brazil, also, so that would be cool.

Second choice would probably be Greece.

And if it's all expenses paid, I'd love to go back to Antibes in the French Riviera because it's basically paradise.

Also really want to go to Croatia and Malta.
