Let's use this thread to post, keep track of, and help push eachother to complete our new year's resolutions.

For me:

I'm a writer, working on a trilogy of novels is what I do as my hobby and I've been making good progress on it. I've got this old Royal Quiet Deluxe typewriter which really gets me in the rhythmic groove of putting words on paper and so my main resolution is to every day do exactly that, put words on paper to finish this second book this year.

My secondary resolution is to finally break my smoking habit. I'm a black n mild afficianado and it's just not healthy and I know it. 2018 is the year I stop smoking. This one I'm smoking now is my last one. Hold me to it.

Well, there we go, those are my resolutuons and I think I can accomplish them with a bit of determination.

I'm going to be slightly nicer to Christian but significantly more of a dick to everyone else

1) finish my fourth novel
2) save darren from thug culture
3) help chris understand it's not his fault
4) get used to wearing a hood in cold water to avoid surfer's ear
5) sleep more, automate less
