I am referring more to organized sports. Tell us your best sports story! | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I played any sport I could get my friends to play growing up. Football in the snow was the best. |

Played hockey until I was about to start high school; I actually miss it. I was pretty terrible with a bad habit of skating with my head down and couldn’t shoot to save my life. I can skate pretty well though and enjoy skating in the winter. People are always surprised when I tell them I use to play hockey.
Played a couple years of baseball until I got injured (outside of baseball) and my mom made me stop for my safety.
Played some volleyball in grade 7/8/9 and was the shortest guy on the team. I was the teams libero.
Was on the rowing team in high school where we won cities twice. It was fun
other than that; I don’t sport

Mostly soccer. My fav positions were defense or goal.
However, at school we had to play all sorts, including Rugby, a sport which no children should ever be forced to play against their will. The biggest kids obviously won. And I was not one of the bigger kids...
The way I understood Rugby in school was that you held your fist in the air and charged at the nearest opposition player. It was basically a teacher sanctioned brawl. I'm pretty sure PE teachers are morally bankrupt.
Do they force you to play Football in American schools?

As a kid, I played baseball, soccer, basketball, and even tried wrestling for 3 or 4 seasons.
Once I reached the competitive teen years, I had to cut the list down due to the different seasons.
In the fall, I ran cross country. Was a team captain for 2 seasons, qualified for the state meet my last three years, even reaching all-state status my junior year of high school. Our team was 1 injury (at the state meet) from winning the title.
In the winter, I played basketball. I was the 6th man my last two seasons, playing mostly power forward, which is funny, because I was built like a bean pole.
In the spring, I did track and field. Started originally with long distance events (1600m, 3200m), but moved into the middle distances my last two years (400m 800m) plus added in triple jump, because why not. I'm actually still listed on my high school's track honor roll in 5 or 6 events, I believe.
Just to keep tooting this horn, I believe I was nominated this year for entry into my high school's athletic hall of fame. I'll keep you guys informed.
Yay sports! | |

Oh I also liked lacrosse but we only did that like once during gym. Not even sure why we had the sticks since it wasn't a team and we never played it in phys ed. It was fun though. Much more fun than most of the other stuff we did | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

You specified "organized sports" of which the only one I did was track and field (I was a sprinter and long jumper).
I played lots of disorganized sports, including some we made up. I nearly killed a friend with the football/golf mix we developed when he was trying to block my field goal and I launched the golf ball right into his head. This was the era of lawn darts, so this was a re4asonable idea at the time.
Played a ton of soccer (midfielder) and football (QB, RB, WR). I was skinny and fast back then. Least favorite position ever: goalie. You are either bored because the ball is nowhere near you, or overstressed because the ball is. There is no middle ground. | How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat? |

I got bored running anything more the 400m, which is why I was a sprinter. I liked 10-20 seconds and done. :)

ALTHOUGH, I’m a champion paintball player. Played a ton with my best friend growing up and we still go every now and then, we both got really good. We used to go to 300 player scenario games (different themes like WWII etc). It’d be like 150 people against 150 people out in the woods, tons of different objectives to capture and defend and things like that, it’d last all day. That was always the most exciting day of the year for me, so much fun

Also I got really good at archery
And could’ve been good at something like tennis and track. Our athletic director pushed be to play tennis because I’m tall and have gorilla arms but I never went for it. I wanted to DRAW!
