I think reincarnation is possible but as far as there being a link to past lives, definitely not.

some of the largest parts of yourself are not unique to you alone. we inherit most of our biology. we are mostly products of our rearing and environment. our influence on each other is pervasive and the effects of our actions can cascade for generations. the individual is both more and less than the body because the individual is not merely the body. our bodies might die, but do we ever truly die? were we ever born? how can mirrors be real if our eyes aren't real?

I do. As it stems from my Beliefs that there is a God and an overarching purpose for humanity and all that great stuff. Sounds like it'll be a pretty great time too. Worse case is I'm wrong and I'll never know.

I always thought reincarnation would be fun too. Like if you maintained your memories and could come back as a different person and experience and do different things. Or as like a tiger or something.

The question should be "Do you think there is an afterlife?", since the only correct answer to "Is there an afterlife?" is "I don't know".

I guess some of the answers are interchangeable based on the confidence in your beliefs.

I vote no, though technically I have no clue. I think it is more important to live like this is the only life you get rather than wasting time focusing on prepping for the next life.
