When you’re getting dressed:

Pants before Socks, or Socks before Pants?

And why?

Underwear - T-shirt - socks - pants - work shirt - shoes

The three underclothes before everything. I think I go with that

Tho socks and pants feel like the two most interchangeable links in that chain

Try putting your pants on first. It feels odd and like something isn't right.

I typically put pants on first. Just because my closet with my pants is next to the bathroom whereas my dresser with my socks is not.

One exception is if I'm wearing jeans. My waist has grown a tad this year so my jeans are a little tighter fitting. Putting on socks after they are on tends to be a little painful for the family jewels.

I take that back. My underwear is in my dresser. I am not sure why I do pants first. I guess since I am mostly barefoot at home I consider socks more as a compliment to shoes then an undergarment like Curt said

Putting on pants is part of getting dressed. Putting on socks is part of putting on your shoes. You wouldn't put your shoes on before putting your pants on, would you?

Actually, knowing what I do of some of you, that actually wouldn't surprise me.

I am very curious how Vlady feels on this issue.

Savages do it the other way. I hate the feeling of pants on my ankles where a sock should be.

Socks before pants.

If you put on pants first, you have to pull up your pants to put your socks on. If your socks are already on, then you don't have this issue. Also, the socks help make your pants slip on easier, because you are less likely to catch on a toenail or anything else when you put your pants on, so it is more efficient as well.

The fact that spin thinks this is barbaric is absurd. Barbarians don't wear socks. Or pants for that matter.

Pants first since I only ever wear socks when I'm wearing shoes and I only wear shoes when I actually leave the house. Fuck shoes.

Cause I keep my shoes by at the closet near the garage, my socks are in my dresser. Every morning I get dressed, grab my socks and then shoes, so I only have to sit down and bend over once to put them both on.
