Following the brutal attack on Spike to end the previous day, the children, still shaken, quietly returned to their homes for the evening. Most were unable to sleep, others, only a little bit, knowing they weren't any closer to finding the people responsible for Shermy's death.
One little girl, decided she'd get to the bottom of it herself.
"I know I'm new to Peanutsville, but I'm going to prove myself to the rest of the group!" Eudora thought to herself. She threw on her coat and headed back out to the pumpkin patch, to see if she could find any evidence they might have missed.
"There has got to be something here," she thought, as she bent down to look through the vines.
Unbeknownst to her, there was something there. A shadowy figure snuck up behind her, and in one fluid motion, brought down a large pumpkin right onto the back of her head. Eudora's face slammed into the ground, hitting one of the large rocks strewn throughout the garden. She was killed almost instantly.
