Horror shorts are very hit and miss. For every half decent one there are about 12,000 garbage/amateur ones. I'm looking for some GOODIES! Help me scour the internet and post any below that spooked you or were interesting
In the meantime, hook me up with the names of any of the ones you've seen that you enjoyed. Not sure that I've really seen all that many horror short films. Can't really think of any off the top of my head except the one with the thing in the bed grinning at the camera. Worst description ever, but that's all I remember about it.
I'm looking around now and immediately running into the same pitfalls I do every time I look for horror shorts. It's always the same thing over and over and over. Some sorta weirdly designed creature is stalking someone home alone and it's building up for a bit and then OOGA BOOGA HE'S RIGHT BEHIND YOU for the final shot. I should really compile a list of that exact ooga booga moment because there are thousands
I saw a great independent one that was called "John Dies at the End", which is not to be confused with the 2012 movie. I'll see if I can track it down, but it was about a guy working late at night in his office when he starts getting a series of emails telling him someone was coming for him.
It was cute.

So my buddy made another horror short film. It hasn't gotten a ton of views like his previous three part Jason vs Michael Myers fan film, but is getting covered on a lot of horror-specific websites and blogs.
When I wrecked my car back in the day this guy was sitting shotgun and he lost so much blood from a busted lip that when I came to I thought I'd killed him because it was everywhere.
