I want to do a let's play! I want to go through an old game, record it and talk over it. I'm gonna say go for a SNES game ideally (though I need to get my controller back). Pick a good one and I'll upload the video.

For comedic value it should probably be something difficult or that I'll likely suck at. Also it should be a platformer or some kind of action game.

I'd go for a mega drive game as well. Anything from that era is good tbh.

I'm not awful at Mega man 2 (though I've never beaten it). I might do that at a later time. I'm curious about Niney's suggestion and might dig it out without looking up anything to do with the game.

The Megaman X series was also pretty decent for SNES. It's got eight different levels that you can play in any order, but the difficulty increases exponentially depending on how you approach them.

I might dig those out. I've only played Megaman 2.

Yeah, X1 is definitely the best one of the three SNES ones, so I'd recommend that one over the other two for an LP, but X2 and X3 are also pretty enjoyable. I rip through them on an emulator every now and again, just for the fun of it.

You could also probably do a decent LP of anything in the Donkey Kong series.

I've completed all the Donkey Kong Country games fully but I wouldn't mind playing through the second again and doing a commentary. Not sure how interesting I could make it though.

I just watched the opening of the game I suggested on Youtube because it has been about twenty years since I played it. You might want to pick something a little more fast paced - that was one hell of a tutorial/intro that I forgot about, but I always thought it was a fun little game.
