HALL OF FAME:

Badger--The most badass Vanilla Townie there ever was. He had great reads all game and with the help of fellow Mason Sock he managed to take down both SKs in one day. His read on im317 almost seemed out of nowhere, but it was spot on and ended up leading to Buffy’s demise.

Spin--I really don’t think there’s any explanation needed here. He was definitely Mafia MVP. His excuse for killing DS was just convincing enough that the town bought it, and he was able to use Cherry’s premature death to convince the town that he was town redirector, and everyone ate it up until he didn’t really have anywhere to hide. Absolutely brilliant play from Spin.

Sock--Sock was absolutely perfect for the journalist role! He made it fun and also had very on point reads throughout the game. I thought he and Badger made a really great team--he definitely contributed to the Mason’s and town’s success on Day 3 by choosing to scan Buffy. His outed information paired with Badger’s day kill ended both the SKs in the same day, and I think this really turned the tide towards a town win.

Zach--I really don’t understand why people have been criticizing how Zach played vig. Like Cherry last game, Zach was in the unfortunate position of being new and not knowing anyone, and not really having a sense of anyone’s playstyles. That’s a pretty tough position to be in as town vig, and I think Zach took it on really well and was a very strong player. He had great reads throughout the game (and had a sense that Spin could be universal backup before anyone else actually thought of this), which also led him to use his one-time watch ability on Badger who had multiple visitors. This helped him confirm some town players later. Sure, he killed a lot of townies, but in the scheme of things most were pretty inconsequential roles (except Matt) and he spared the town a few lynches. He also pegged Timmah as GF early on and would have exposed him if DS didn’t block him.

Dylan--THE CLUTCH! Dylan’s reads were on point from day one. It was almost eerie considering he wasn’t quite as active as some of the other townies. He just had a really strong sense of who scum could be, and him swooping in randomly to save the unconfirmed town nurse and lynching Primate, mafia roleblocker, in Josh’s place on D5 was sooooo clutch.

Zersch-- The Town Inventor! Zersch was really smart about who he gave a lot of his items to. He had a good read on Zach after Day 1 (which is pretty impressive) and gave him the surveillance fan, which was a one-time watch ability. He had a strong, correct read on Badger and gave him the cane for a day kill, which was particularly powerful because Badger had Sock to confide in about what to do with it. He also sensed when DS might need protection and gave him the secret service agent as a body guard. His subtle breadcrumbs were also relatively effective throughout the game. Zersch’s reads are eventually what cornered Spin on D10.

Timmah-- It seems almost too obvious to use the information mafia knew about Vlady to have Spin redirect him to Primate, but that’s what Timmah suggested and it gained mafia another player and spared Primate’s death the day Vlady was lynched.

Honorable mentions:

Miko-- He got kind of robbed because no one believed him, and I think it was pretty unfair that the Nofo lynch was held against him when he was obviously trying to save himself last minute.

Buffy--Easily the most unlucky player in the history of mafia. She did what she could despite being royally fucked.

Josh--Did a great job late in the game for town and wasn’t afraid of jumping right in considering it was his first game on FE.

HALL OF LAME:

Curtis--Helped the Nofo train gain speed D1 and because he didn’t realize Nofo was on the mafia team with him.

DS--First of all, I do want to say that DS’ reads were pretty good for the beginning portion of the game and he does really put a lot into scum hunting and is an active participant, so I commend him for that. However, there came a point in the game when DS’ actions really started hurting town. Most notably when he tried to put pressure on Sock, suspecting he was journalist, which was obviously a powerful town role that should not have been outed. That same night he proceeded to block Sock, which made absolutely no sense and prevented the town from getting info from Sock’s role. Then he blocked Zach, who I think a lot of people had a feeling was vig at that point, which prevented Zach from shooting Timmah, which would have outed Timmah as GF. Zach was pretty obviously vig the next day too, and DS asked me if he could block Zach AGAIN. Luckily he couldn’t block back to back, but it didn’t matter because DS died that next night anyway.

Matt-- .

Mercator-- He wasn’t really very active for a lot of the game (I know you were busy, though) and though not a lot of people voiced it during the day phase, many had scum reads on Merc early on. I was surprised at how long he got away with his town cop phase, but after a while I think laziness and being unwilling to read crucial parts of the day phases got him backed into a corner and town was able to call his bullshit.I do have to give Merc props for investigating Vlady N1 though. Without that info mafia would may have never found out Vlady was Trump’s lover.

Vlady-- Outed himself as third party for seemingly no reason, which ultimately resulted in his lynch.

TOWN-- For lynching your savior, Lord Mayor Dylan, on D9. Y’all really did him dirty!

I'm sparing Nofo HOL because I know he cut his hand open and that's why he was MIA D1.

TBH I got called out for my bullshit after you mod-confirmed there was a mafia investigator and a town one with no indication of a town cop.

I used my laziness to "clear" as few town as I could, I actually read through most if not all of all the days (maybe not D2).

And Merc I'm sorry that you don't agree with my opinion and perspective on things, but you don't need to rip apart the game that I put a lot of time and effort into just because you're unhappy with how I saw things.


And yes, I forgot to list vlady in HOL but he should be up there. Just wasn't at the top of my list because I wasn't around for most of the day he was lynched and Vic posted the flip.

Buffy and i really put mafia behind the 8 ball to start with by taking them out night 1 and 2. which is funny because i complained about her killing mafia night 1 after a mafia member had just been lynched, then went right out and did the same. thought in my defense how could i know Curtis was mafia? his accidentally throwing Nofo under the bus made him look very town.

I never asked you in the other thread, but you made some reference to me clearing Curtis with Mason info. I'm interested to know what post you're referring to, because I don't think I did? But I prolly miscommunicated.
