Watched the first two episodes maaaany years ago but never continued. I finally decided to restart and try to get into it. I'm finding it a lot more enjoyable now than I did back then. It's a hard show to even talk about really, it's so....odd. Coming up on the S1 finale now

Also in just six episodes I've decided that Agent Cooper is one of TV's best characters. His wide eyed enthusiasm for pretty basic things around the town is always so funny, he's played perfectly | |

The show derails when Lynch took some time away from it, so in Season Two you can skip the parts that start annoying you without effecting the key story (I pretty much jump past the whole Big Ed/Nadine in High School shit when I watch Season Two).
Fire Walk With Me is a classic movie to go along with it (and don't forget to turn up the volume at the end so you can hear the monkey tie things back to David Bowie's character).
Also: Side trivia for Lynch fans- Mulholland Drive was originally going to be about Audrey Horne going to Hollywood. We missed out on some Sherilyn Fenn lesbian sex scenes back in the day.

Been chugging along. Halfway through s2 now

Mobile so I can't go into it much but the episodes involving Leland's reveal and aftermath were GREAT. Maddy's death was absolutely brutal. Ray Wise played the part perfectly, sad he's gone. That whole scene in the bar with Coop/The Giant/Its happening again as Leland killed Maddy was the most enthralled I've been by the show
Getting into the shit territory now (super Nadine is terrible) but I'm determined to finish up and watch Fire Walk With Me before the new season Sunday |

Ray Wise is in the coming series. Still no word HOW yet, but potentially in the Lodge. This will make more sense later. One note on it below outside of the spoiler tag.
Agree though- this made me love Ray Wise, and when he was on Reaper it was amazing.
