It's being compared to that of an epic telltale game

looks really interesting, gonna wait for it to be on sale though probably

I got it back in Febuary but didn't have a chance to play at the time and completely forgot about it. I know the Firewatch creators are pals with the Oxenfree creators so they're like TWIN GAMES. Gonna install it on this computer and maybe play tomorrow

I played the opening scene today and it was cool. The music reminded me of Stranger Things

I put it on my steam wishlist after reading an article titled "IF U LIKED STRANGER THINGS YOULL LOVE OXENFREE"

I got it yesterday but it keeps fucking crashing and I have no idea why. It looks really good.

Just beat it and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a hell of a ride. The pacing was pretty much perfect

Throughout the game I was kinda bracing myself for a disappointing ending, just because with this type of story it's very rare that the payoff is actually worthy of the setup. And that did kinda end up being the case here to some extent Liked: the "wait, didn't you say that before?" moment before the final picture is taken. As well as the very ending with the big time loop. I'm wondering if they changed the dialogue options for the second playthrough? I started playing it again and noticed a bunch of "This seems familiar..." options that I definitely don't remember being there originally. If they were that's pretty impressive on their part, planting those seeds without making it obvious and giving stuff away What I didn't like though was the whole "REMEMBER WHO YOU REALLY ARE! LET GO OF YOUR ANGER IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY!" scene. That was a pretty disappointing and cliche way for the plot to resolve. And I also didn't care for Ghost Clarissa's voice being the main villain voice for the last portion of the game, it didn't seem threatening at all compared to the stitched voice clips from the beginning. That was SO much more creepy. Like comparing the Hangman scene to the scene at the bottom of the ocean...the former was so much more effective So ya I thought the journey was far better than the destination, but I was expecting it anyway. Still ended better than Lost (: Oh and my results: - Bonded with Jonas - Kept Ren and Nona from dating - Made up with Clarissa
