I might see it tomorrow or Saturday. Depends if my local theater puts it out.

I was already gonna see it this weekend but the reviews have me excited. I like how THIS is one of the more lowly rated reviews: "This is heady stuff - a more natural fit for a black-and-white Bergman than a kiddie caper."

just based on looks alone, didn't think people would be saying stuff like that

Pixar and Bergman. Sold.

It was good. Lots of fun, imaginative stuff - especially the dreaming parts. That said, I'm not really sure where people are getting this "this is the most emotional Pixar has ever been!" thing from. There wasn't anything in this that was close to being as emotional as Up or Toy Story 3 to me. Maybe partly because I don't directly relate to the conflict of the movie

I liked the short at the beginning too

Man I hated Lava, those volcanoes weirded me out.

I was... kinda on the verge of tears for a lot of it. Riley reminded me a lot of my little sister who did go through a bad state of depression after a move so actually seeing it visualized was really emotional.

Seeing those moments of happiness when she was young and only wanting that, and having all those core elements of her personality collapsing, it really got to me. But Bing-Bong flat-out killed me. A bunch of kids in the theater were crying
