Hey guys! As some of you may not know, the Sims 4 Create-A-Sim Demo has finally been released to the public! I've been waiting for this forever, and I'm glad I can finally fiddle around with it and see what I can do!

First impressions: Well, I had trouble getting the thing to actually SHOW. I had to go into the options in the actual game folder and change it to windowed mode so I don't face a black screen telling me my resolution size monitor sucks.

Secondly, the game was not slow at all when transitioning from detailed creation, to loading up the different clothes and facial features. It was all very smooth and I had no issue at all! Compared to the Sims 3, it's a lot faster and there's no waiting for clothes to load, (although I DO have a lot of clothes in Sims 3)

Well, if you guys have it downloaded, what do you think? I already have my first Sim made, which I made in my image. Here she is:

Mine is finished but Mal is working on his so I will post the finished product when I have access to my laptop

I might do this to get a feel for how terrible the game will run on this wonderful computer.

KC it ran okay on mine. Only issue I am having is taking a screenshot of my sim.

My thoughts right now about 2 hours after briefly trying:

Pros:
I like the walk styles
I like being able to alter body shapes
Thats it

Cons:
3 traits are you fucking kidding me
Not being able to change clothing hairs and skins from defaults are you fucking kidding me
The interface, limited selections and style make me think of the sims mobile free to play
How the hell do you change eye color without changing the entire face
Accessories changing is really unintuitive
The range of changes you can make seems really limited.
Whats relegated to details mode and what isnt seems arbitrary.
How do I make ears stick out?
Lack of range for hair colors. I mentioned it before but still
I hate EA's sense of style
I need mods
This shit's $70 what

Pros:
-the walks ARE cool
-body shapes
-randomizing your portrait so that your sims posed more natural (if you saved)

Cons:
-I really wish you could change height. I am fairly short but my sim is almost the same height as mal's sim whereas we have a pretty large height difference.
-The hair options suck. There was nothing remotely close to what I have besides color.
-The clothing isn't as bad as sims 3 but I really wish you could customize it more. Their default colors and shit aren't that great.

I would show you what our sims looks like if I could figure out why it won't let me screenshot.

I don't even have anything that close to my hair color. :(
