That scene made me think of O-ren's backstory scene in Kill Bill vol 1.

I would love for them to use the game as a point of inspiration. Oddly enough, tonight when Rick saw the map, the music reminded me of the game. I know Crawford is supposed to be a part of Savannah in the game, but I wouldnt be shocked if the show translated it to Crawford County somehow.

Apparently they have not.

I did a little timeline research, and these events are 500+ days post outbreak, I guess we don't know their backstory but it's so hard to believe they didn't come across this situation earlier.

Show defenders are adamant that the bedroom guy was not dead and just "put to sleep"...

Talking Dead didn't have him in their "In Memorium" section, so I guess it's true. None of it makes sense over a bed anyway.
