TOMORROW...I shall watch all three Lord of the Rings movies in a row. My roommate and I have been wanting to do this for a long time and finally decided to do it tomorrow
Theatrical edition of Fellowship
Extended editions of Two Towers and Return of the King
That's like...12 hours total I think? Without breaks. Gonna need lots of POPCORN AND PEPSI (:
It's been awhile since I've sat down to watch any of the three so it should be nice. They're by far my three favorite movies. Hopefully I don't get BORED! Has anyone else done this? Or with another trilogy or series?

I haven't done this with Lord of the Rings and probably never will, just for the run-time alone. But I have done this with the Evil Dead movies, the Back to the Future movies, and the original Star Wars movies. | Nintendo Network ID: EctoCooler47 |

I think I mentioned in the Star Wars thread I did this with the Original Trilogy but it was some time back. I'm talking like '99 right before Episode I came out. | Domo Arigato Paco Roboto

I watched them in a row but not in the same day. I guess that means I didn't watch them in a row. But it felt like it. What am I saying? But in any case, movies... not really. I watched Analyze This and Analyze That in the same day. Does that count?
Binge watching series of television shows, yes. Not quite the same, though. |

I got through the first two LOTR extended editions back to back but never all 3. I must attempt it sometime in my life. Soon we'll have to include the Hobbit extended editions as well (:

I've also wanted to do this for a while, but I've been trying to wait until I find the blu ray extended set at a "cheap" or at least cheaper price. I nearly picked up the Hobbit extended earlier since it was only 20 bucks on blu ray, but I kind of want to watch it first before I decide if I want to buy it. I'm sure I'll love it but... can never be too sure.

I did this with the Star Wars movies (not including KLOAN WARZ) when I got them on Blu-Ray ... also watched Plinkett's reviews of the first three the day after viewing the movies | "Kurtis Page isn't real, in fact he is an alias of a rogue program that murders people throughout the internet." - Korr |

Oh though it was during CHRISTMAS TIME so I had that many hours to spare in a day.
Maybe I should do LOTR this Christmas, thing is I never rly liked those movies as much as Star Wars (original trilogy) so can't feel MOTIVATED enough to do it! | "Kurtis Page isn't real, in fact he is an alias of a rogue program that murders people throughout the internet." - Korr |

I have done that, iirc, watching the complete LOTR trilogy, right before I was playing LOTR mafia hosted be jeffrington. Funny coincidence, the 2nd part was on TV this evening. Or maybe the 3rd? saw it maybe for 30 seconds, where gandalf is bragging about how he's gandalf the white etc, no longer just gandalf...I guess it could have been the 3rd. I have also seen the star wars "trilogy" in a row back then, when it was just a trilogy

I don't even count the clone wars as a film to be watched in the Saga marathon.
