Above are 15 random movies released in 2008. I took them from a list of popular or successful movies from that year.

Choose all the movies that you've seen from this list. Which is your favorite? Which did you hate? How would you rank the ones you have seen?

There were a lot of good/popular movies from this year. There's plenty more that I didn't have room for on the poll

Oh man. Such a good year. There wasn't really a single movie that I didn't like out of the ones I watched

1. The Dark Knight. I could watch this movie over and over and it never gets old. The Joker is probably my favorite villain in any movie

2. Revolutionary Road. Not exactly a movie I'd want to rewatch much but it's really, really well-done. DiCaprio/Winslet/Shannon were all great

3. Cloverfield. Still one of the funnest moviegoing experiences I've had. It doesn't hold up nearly as well on a smaller screen though

4. WALL-E. If the movie lived up to the first half it might be my favorite Pixar movie. The second half was pretty weak though

5. Gran Torino

6. Tropic Thunder

7. Slumdog Millionaire

8. Iron Man

9. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. It was good but pretty disappointing. It could've been so much better. My biggest problem was that the character didn't make much sense in the middle portions. Like when he was in his 20 year old body he didn't act like a 50-60 year old at ALL. Unlike some people though I didn't mind the length at all. It had a pretty epic SCOPE to it

10. Burn After Reading

11. Pineapple Express

I saw them all but Burn After Reading, Wall-E, Frost/Nixon, The Reader, and Milk.

Pineapple Express is one of if not my favorite "stoner comedy," replacing the classic Half-Baked for me for the most part. But my favorite would be between Gran Torino, which I've rewatched a million times on HBO, and The Wrestler which I thought was amazing. Mickey Rourke should have got an Oscar for it. I think I like the idea of Cloverfield more than I liked the execution, but I'd watch it again if it was on right now.

Tropic Thunder I saw in theater and laughed, but I don't remember much about it now. Just RDJ being black.

Everything else was inoffensive and passable to good.

I'm the only one who's seen Milk!? LOL.

Pretty good movie.

But my faves on this list are Pineapple Express, Slumdog and DKR.

Only ones I haven't seen are Revolutionary Road and Milk.

Lots of great movies. I love The Dark Knight, Wall-E, and The Wrestler. It's not on the poll but I also though Doubt was really good.

A lesson without pain is meaningless. That's because no one can gain without sacrificing something. But by enduring that pain and overcoming it, he shall obtain a powerful, unmatched heart. A fullmetal heart.

Dark Knight
Wall-E
Iron-Man

All are good movies. Wall-E was a bit overrated in it's time I think though.

Saw Slumdog Millionaire on one of the movie channels while channel flipping. Kind of a blur though.

I watched the Dark Night on a bootleg cause I wanted to see what all the hype was about. I wasn't really into it though. Superhero movies are never really my cup of tea.

The Wrestler was a great fucking movie. I've watched it numerous times, it's one of my favorite movies ever. Rourke is fantastic in it.

Watched WALL-E on HBO once, didn't really pay attention to it though.

Cloverfield was okay. Probably would have been better in a theater.

Milk was good.

Tropic Thunder was hilarious.

I usually detest stoner comedies but Pineapple Express was funny.

So good.

I DEMAND A RECOUNT!

Maybe Rourke not getting the Oscar was the Oscar's way of paying homage to the Montreal Screwjob.

Mickey Rourke was great, but we should also be giving credit to Marisa Tomei's tits.
