I don't know about anyone else, but I am a sucker for covers of songs, especially if it is an acoustic cover!
I was just curious about what are some of your favorite songs (or not so favorite songs) that have been covered that you really like!

One last time: Yellow Mutter Custard - Penny Lane (it includes Fool on the hill, but I don't like it that much)

The Built to Spill cover of Neil Young's Cortez the Killer I posted recently in the listening topic. Marilyn Manson's I Put a Spell on You. Reel Big Fish doing Take on Me. Smashing Pumpkins doing Landslide. Reliant K doing Toto's Africa. Fear Factory doing Cars. Dope doing You Spin Me Round.
In Flames doing Iron Maiden's Murders in the Rue Morgue. Cradle of Filth (terrible band) doing another Iron Maiden song, Hallowed Be Thy Name. White Zombie trying Sabbath's Children of the Grave. GWAR channeling Alice Cooper and doing School's Out. Metallica doing the entire Mercyful Fate album.
I love a cover song. Don't think any of them are acoustic, though.

I love Landslide by Smashing Pumpkins!!
I found a band Boyce Avenue that does covers and I'm really enjoying his music and the take on the songs.

Mad World - Gary Jules
Hurt - Johnny Cash
although in those cases the covers might be more well-known than the originals
