Badger sat alone in a darkened room, illuminated only by a thin beam of sunlight which shined directly upon the table in front of him. On the table were three cups of various design.

"You're strangely dressed...for a knight." he mused as a stranger walked in.

"I'm not exactly a--what is all this?" the stranger stammered at the unexpected scene.

"Ah, yes. The test of life. Three cups lie before you. In one, lies the key to eternal life. One is simply a cup of water."

"...and the third?"

"Ah, well, with light there must be shadow. And with life, there must be death. That is what you shall find in the third cup. Of course, you can always simply walk away...but will you?"

The stranger seemed hesitant to entertain this charade, but eventually they took a seat at the table.

"Good, good. Now when you're ready...the choice is yours." Badger smiled, the whites of his teeth barely visible from the shadows.

"I have a proposal for you, Badger boy. If I take a drink from one of these cups here...I want you to take one too. Not much fun playing the game alone, is it?"

"We have an accord." Badger agreed after a moment's consideration. After all, he perfectly well knew what lied in each cup anyhow.

"Excellent." the stranger said, observing the three cups laid before them. There was an ornate golden cup, an unassuming wooden cup, and an imposing skull-shaped cup.

"Well, clearly I want no part of that skull..." the stranger mused as they picked up both the golden and wooden cups and pored over them for quite some time.

"We do literally have an eternity to play this little game. But please, consider speeding things along..." Badger said, trying his best to hide his impatience.

"No problem, no problem at all little Badger. I have made my choice." they said, taking the golden cup for themselves and sliding the wooden cup across the table. "Of course, you're free to take the skull cup?"

"No no, this is fine." Badger replied hastily, almost sounding giddy with anticipation. "Let us see how you have chosen."

"Well alright then! Cheers, my friend."

The cups clunked together and each of them took a swig.

The whites of Badger's teeth could be seen through the shadows again.

"You have chosen...*cough*...you have..."

Badger began to gasp as the whites of his teeth soon turned pure red. He collapsed forward onto the table.

"You...you..." Badger wheezed, looking up at the stranger incredulously.

"I switched them, you silly rodent. Looks like I chose wisely after all." they sneered as they dumped the rest of the cup over Badger's head and swaggered off.

Badger, MAFIA (The Holy Grail), has been killed.
Each night, you can recruit someone to drink from a grail AND select which cup will contain poison. The person you select MAY choose to take a drink from one of the cups. If they choose the poisoned cup, they die. If they choose one of the other cups, they survive but nothing further happens. NOTE: you must make your selection during the day phase.


Meanwhile, Farlig died under suspicious circumstances.

"No one should...*gasp*...read into this shortened flavor...*gasp*...the narrator must've been tired and needed to...*hacking cough*...sleep." Farlig blurted out in his death throes.

Farlig, SERIAL KILLER ([redacted]), has been killed.
Each night, you may select someone to kill. Since you are linked together, you will both perform the kill together. If one of you dies, the other may still perform a kill action by themselves OR [redacted].

It is now Day 5. The day will end in 24 hours or when a majority has been reached. With 7 alive, it'll take 4 to reach majority.
