James tied a noose around Anita’s neck, Bruce strung the noose over the rafters and Dana kicked the chair out from under Anita. Anita struggled for a moment before going limp, a knife falling from his hand. Wait his hand? Bruce searches Anita and finds an essay, along with a rejection letter.

Greenday – Anita, aka Nicholas Barton –serial killer – third party – Each night you must select one player to kill. You are bulletproof and scan as town. (If you target the psychiatrist you will be converted to a vanilla town member instead of killing her) – The child killer from season 2’s episode Misbegotten was your favorite character. Your infatuation with him has turned into a hallucination; you actually think you are him. You drugged the food and drinks at the welcome dinner and during the night you killed Mr. King, and left the note. – You win when all other scum is dead and there are less than 4 town members left. (And Rebecca is dead)

final player list

6. Kiwi:
10. Jen:
12. Patrick:
16. Shawn:

Kiwi, Patrick and Shawn rejoice over the death of the serial killer. Jen steps up behind the happy group with a gun in each hand and fires 2 shots.

Bruce and Dana fall to the floor dead. James and Mike rejoice in there victory.

12. Patrick: Bruce Lewis

Bruce Lewis – Sidekick – Town – You are the ultimate sidekick and can do a little bit of everything. You have 1 shot uses of the following abilities: scan for alignment, protect, guard, role block, kill, track and watch. You may use 2 abilities the same night but you will be unable to use any ability the following night should you do so. - A physiotherapist who helps Johnny regain his strength after his coma. Bruce is an open-minded spiritual junkie as a result of a religious upbringing by his pastor father. He is Johnny's best friend and frequently his voice of reason. - You win when all non town players are dead.

16. Shawn: Dana Bright

Dana Bright – reporter – Town – each night you may pick a player to stake out looking for a story. You will learn what happened to them that night. - A journalist for the Bangor Daily News. Dana covered much of Johnny's early work, and later became romantically linked with him; she was also in a relationship with Gene Purdy. She left the show for some time, and her absence was not explained until the season 5 episode "Articles of Faith." Because of her coverage of Johnny, Dana was able to move on up to reporting for a Boston television station, choosing her career ambitions above her increasingly complex relationship with Johnny. At the end of that episode when she leaves, it is shown that both harbor, to some degree, feelings for each other. - You win when all non town players are dead.

6. Kiwi: James Stillson – Role Cop – Mafia – Each night you may select 1 player, you will be told there Role name (SKer will scan as backup Doc). – Father of Greg Stillson. – You win when you have majority and any 3rd party players area dead.

10. Jen: Mike Kennedy – Role blocker – Mafia – Each night you may select one player, that player will be unable to use their ability that night. - Michael Kennedy was a lawyer for Faith Heritage, and an associate of Reverend Eugene Purdy. – You win when you have majority and any 3rd party players area dead.

all role/ability related text in parenthesis was hidden from the players. i have a few more things to post now, and tomorrow i will do a overall writeup.

full story

The guests sit down to dinner. They had each won an essay writing contest sponsored by Horror writer Stephen King. They had to explain which character from the television show The Dead Zone was there favorite and why. There had been tens of thousands of entries and only one entry was picked for each character.
Here you are now one of the chosen few, sitting down to dinner with Stephen King himself at the welcoming party he is throwing at his Maine estate for the winners before the start of the grand prize, a Dead Zone themed weekend that will be attended by the actors who played your favorite characters.
Dinner is over and you all go off to bed, after all tomorrow is going to be a big day. There was a major storm during the night and you hardly slept at all between the thunder and anticipation. You head on down to the dining room for breakfast.
Good morning everyone, I hope you had a good night’s sleep. I regret to inform you that the bridge is out; it seems it was swept away in the storm. Sadly this means that the cast will not be able to get here. The lights suddenly go out and there is a loud roar of thunder and a bolt of lightning illuminates the room. The lights quickly come back on but you decide it’s better to be safe and hand out flashlights to all the guests only something is wrong. As you give the last of the guests a flashlight you realize there isn’t one left for you. “This is strange, there were only supposed to be the x of you and I had enough flashlights for myself and each of you. It appears someone has crashed the party.” Before Mr. King can elaborate the lights go out again, only this time they stay out for several minutes. When the lights come back on you see Mr. King covered in blood, dead from multiple stab wounds. There is a note written in almost illegible writing.

“Welcome to The Dead Zone. By now you have probably begun to notice that things are not quite right. No matter for worry, I simply drugged last night’s meal. I’m sorry I had to kill Mr. King but he said I was not important enough for the contest, so nobody wrote letters for me. It’s time to play a little game, were going to see just how well you know your favorite characters. You have to figure out who I am before I kill all of you. The lights are set to go out again in 1 hours’ time, at which point I will kill again. We will keep playing this little game until you are all dead, good luck.”
Panic starts to spread until Reverend Purdy stands up and calls for calm. Wait Reverend Purdy, but he’s a fictional character. He seems to be making sense so you decide to go with it. The group all agrees with his plan, you will work together to find the killer before time runs out. People start making wild accusations about each other before Greg Stillson calls for quite; at this point fictional characters are the least of your concern. He suggests that we vote on whom to kill, surprisingly Johnny agrees with him.

There are x alive it takes y to lynch. A modified version of plurality is in effect, if at least half the players vote then there will be a lynch. Time is up in 24 hours, good luck.

full role info

Name – Role – alignment - ability – description – win condition

John Smith – Psychic – Town - Each night you can touch a player and get a vision of what there last action was. (If you touch a dead body you get a vision showing all the players that person interacted with. The list of players will be in a random order. After JJ dies you will have a scripted event for your next night action in which you touch his dead body, if he was lynched you will learn the role of the player that lynched him, if he was killed then it will be the same as any other dead body) - A retired school teacher who, as a result of a car accident, has developed psychic abilities. An encounter with a carnival trickster in the first episode (before the car accident) makes it clear Johnny already has some psychic abilities. However, after the coma, their nature changes from intuition to visions, the latter requiring urgent action, even when personally inconvenient, whereas earlier Johnny only uses his ability on a carnival trickster to amuse his fiancιe Sarah. Whenever he undergoes one of his visions, Johnny has shown to be capable of manipulating the time localized around the vision, allowing him to stop, slow, reverse, or forward the time relative to himself within the vision, leaving him as the only one aware of his temporal alterations within it and thus allowing him to further examine the details from the past, future, and occasionally the present. – You win when all non town players are dead.

Sarah Bannerman – Mother – Town – You cannot be lynched. - Johnny's former fiancιe, and the mother of his son, J.J. Sarah married Walt Bannerman during Johnny's coma, and the two raised J.J. together. Sarah knew Johnny when they were children, and later taught at the same school as him. - You win when all non town players are dead.

Sheriff Walt Bannerman – Sheriff – Town – Each night you may pick 1 player to scan, you will be told that players alignment. - The relationship between Johnny and Walt is initially very rocky, as Johnny often feels that Walt stole Sarah from him. However, since then as Johnny displays his powers more and more often in law enforcement situations, Johnny becomes an asset to Walt, and the two become friends. - You win when all non town players are dead.

Reverend Eugene ‘Gene’ Purdy – Reverend – Town (miller) – You are a respected leader in the community, as such you have enough sway to stop 1 lynch. As a man of God you cannot cast the first or final lynch vote. You are a strong motivational speaker, once during the game you may select a player during the night phase. That player will be given a second night action the following night. - Another original character in the series, a religious leader and head of a prestigious university and foundations funded by Vera Smith, Johnny's mother. Johnny always speculated that Purdy's interest in Vera was for financial gain; however, his powers allowed him to discover that Purdy had been in love with Vera for more than 35 years. Upon Vera's suicide over the grief of the loss of her son, Purdy covered up the incident and made everyone believe she died of a heart attack, thus preserving her dignity in the public eye. Purdy has long been involved with somewhat shady dealings, but is always in the constant service of God. His devotion sometimes clouds his judgment, and he has even gone as far as to cover up a murder to protect better interests. - You win when all non town players are dead.

JJ Bannerman – Beloved Child – Town – If you are killed the following day phase is skipped. (If Walt is killed at night you will receive a bad feeling about him that night. This will trigger your visions and each following night you will be able to select 1 player to touch. You will see a randomized action that player has performed or had performed on them.) - You win when all non town players are dead.

Greg Stillson - -Godfather – Mafia – Each night you may send a member of your mafia out to kill someone. You scan as town aligned and are bullet proof. – You win when you have majority and any 3rd party players area dead.

Malcolm Janus –Bus Driver – Mafia - You are a major power broker. Your reach extends so far as to manipulate the outcome of events. Each night you may select 2 players, any actions performed on a selected player will occur to the other selected player instead. - A power-broker who believes that Greg Stillson is "destined for great things." His ultimate goal is to place Stillson in the White House. He also gave Reverend Purdy a global sphere of influence, in return for financial support of Stillson's campaigns. – You win when you have majority and any 3rd party players area dead.

Sonny Elliman – Strong Man – Mafia – Twice during the game when sent out to kill you may use this ability to make the kill unstoppable. It will bypass role blocking and protection. – Greg Stillsons political advisor. You will do anything to ensure Stillson wins, anything. – You win when you have majority and any 3rd party players area dead.

Mike Kennedy – Role blocker – Mafia – Each night you may select one player, that player will be unable to use their ability that night. - Michael Kennedy was a lawyer for Faith Heritage, and an associate of Reverend Eugene Purdy. – You win when you have majority and any 3rd party players area dead.

James Stillson – Role Cop – Mafia – Each night you may select 1 player, you will be told there Role name (SKer will scan as backup Doc). – Father of Greg Stillson. – You win when you have majority and any 3rd party players area dead.

Jake Truax – Vanilla – Mafia – A political consultant for the Stillson campagn. – You win when you have majority and any 3rd party players area dead.

Anita / Nicholas Barton –serial killer – third party – Each night you must select one player to kill. You are bulletproof and scan as town. (If you target the psychiatrist you will be converted to a vanilla town member instead of killing her) – The child killer from season 2’s episode Misbegotten was your favorite character. Your infatuation with him has turned into a hallucination; you actually think you are him. You drugged the food/drink at the welcome dinner and during the night you killed Mr. King, and left the note. – You win when all other scum is dead and there are less than 4 town members left. (And Rebecca is dead)

Dr. Janet Gibson – Doctor – Town – Each night you may select a player, that player will be protected from death that night. – You are one of the Doctors who have examined Johnny after he got his powers. - You win when all non town players are dead.

Dr. Tran – Backup Doctor - Town – Each night you may select a player, that player will be protected from death that night. – You are one of the Doctors who have examined Johnny after he got his powers. - You win when all non town players are dead.

Rebecca Caldwell – child psychiatrist – Town – Each night you may select one player for a therapy session, if the selected player is a serial killer the session will work and they will be converted to a vanilla town member. - You win when all non town players are dead.

Alex Sinclair – psychic – Town – Each night you may select a dead player to communicate with. They will tell you what night actions they have performed and what the results were.- A female psychic who discovered her "dead zone" when she was stung by a swarm of bees (presumably "killer bees") as a child and became hyper-allergic to bee stings and products. Alex first appears in the fourth season episode "Double Vision" where she and Johnny track down a sniper together. At the end of the episode, it's clear that she and Johnny have developed feelings for each other, but she decides that she's not ready to pursue the relationship. Alex does later appear in the fourth season Christmas episode "A Very Dead Zone Christmas" where the idea of her and Johnny getting together is further explored. - You win when all non town players are dead.

Sheriff Anna Turner – Jailor – Town – Each night you may arrest someone and make them spend the night in jail. They will not be able to perform a night action or be killed that night. - The "sheriff pro tem" of Penobscot County, Anna investigated the final unofficial case of the recently-deceased Sheriff Walt Bannerman. - You win when all non town players are dead.

Deputy Roscoe – backup cop – Town – when the cop dies you take over there ability. - A deputy who works for Walt. Roscoe is usually first on the scene and very dependable. - You win when all non town players are dead.

Henry outed Kiwi before he was lynched. Jen joined Henry on the most obvious scum train ever. How did neither get lynched!

stfu my good sir. I didn't fuck up I just picked the wrong guy, maybe even BECAUSE we used force too soon that scum team was kinda doomed. the "Nobert" scenario didn't help the case at all later down the road.

wasting an unstoppable kill...why? after this night there may very well be a failed kill attempt and we could just off that dude next night with Bryce's power if you wanna get rid of that so bad. a shot in the dark is not worth it though in my opinion

if the majority is cool with it though, you may proceed or whatever. Just don't get in my face all the time Kiwi and talk that shit....if you want me to tolerate your opinion you should be less of a sh*t babbling big mouth and somewhat more respectful when talking to me. I once thought you're a really good troll...was facepalming and chuckling at your sh*t....but time passed by and I have come to the conclusion that you're serious about most of what you post and that has me >_> most of the time I read that stuff...so you may be held responsible for your actions some day...lel

just....chill out, and don't gimme that lip. let's play this game and win this bitch. keep your dick in your pants and we be good

Kiwi WAS painfully obvious but so was Bryce. Seriously, a no lynch? I can see why Jen played dumb now but that was just frustrating.

Also, why didn't anyone catch it the next day when I was dead but Bryce had said I scanned as 3rd party? I mean, he was still lynched eventually but he was caught in a proven lie.
