Can’t wait

10/10 for me. I had a fucking blast. It is so stupid but simultaneously profound. This is a movie that had me laughing my ass off at hotdog fingers and then crying over a rock with googly eyes. This is going to be a divisive movie for sure but I’m obsessed.

the last tweet before I saw the movie directly mentioned and put it up there with Eternal Sunshine and Fight Club so my expectations really couldn't have been higher considering those are both top 5 movies for me. May have been a biiit overhyped because of that but it was still VERY good/fun!

I just love how unique/fresh Daniels' directorial voice is. Even if you don't love their movies you gotta at least respect it, they have a style that no one else is even remotely similar to

I definitely preferred the first half-ish more just for the sense of DISCOVERY, it was such a blast. Once the movie had shown just about its full hand it still went in some satisfying directions but wasn't quite as thrilling

Yeoh and the girl who played Joy were both so good. Thought I'd never seen her before but apparently she was in Shang-Chi too (funnily enough so was Yeoh)? Quite the upgrade for both of them here (:

The intro for Jobu was deeefinitely the highlight of the movie for me, that was incredible. I could've done with another big scene along those lines with Jobu although there were obviously other inventive scenes after like the googly eyes "fight" The rock scene(s) are a somewhat close second (: Leave it to Daniels to make you emotional over a farting corpse or two stationary rocks

8/10 and def a movie I'll own/rewatch when the blu-ray's out

I saw it last night without knowing that much about it and it kinda blew my mind. I was surprised how often I was genuinely laughing.

I really liked how they changed so casually between Cantonese(?) and English. It made the dialog feel very real.

I want to watch it again and see what I pick up on a second watch.

I feel like it's going to reaaaalllllly outshine Dr Strange Multiverse of Madness, which was a movie I was looking forward to.

What a FLICK! 9/10 easily, I loved it. Haven’t had that much fun in a theater in ages

Yeoh was great. And I LOVED Waymond. The return of Data/Shortround! He didn’t miss a beat for someone who hasn’t acted in ages and was never in much to begin with, I thought he was so good

Lost a small bit of steam during the last hour but that’s my one minor complaint, it was p much perfect. A one of a kind movie, any other multiverse movies might as well pack it up

You guys are making me want to hit up the theaters this week

Yea I’ve never even heard of this and am kind of avoiding reading too much but I’m definitely tempted to try to see it this weekend.
